Sorry for the Double Post.
So I just dug out an old monitor and booted up the Dell Dimension 5000 and found these Specs by looking at Device Manager:
nVidia GeForce 6800
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz processors (It shows up twice so I'm guessing Dual Core)
2GB RAM
But I don't know how to tell what Motherboard it is, I think it might be an Intel one.
Also I was thinking earlier would I have to install Vista and all the software like that? Is it that hard?
And someone suggested Budget PCs that still run really well, anyone got any links or suggested brands like that?
EDIT: Just to summarise I am building my own and need suggestions and guidance on good Motherboards and Sound Cards, then I'll post the components I like and see if they are compatible.
