This has got me intrigued.

What the hell do you think it is?

It could be a long buried meteor. It would be cool if it was an alien spaceship, kinda like the film Sphere.

It looks like a scrambled picture of somebody holding a millenium falcon model in thir palm. Whatever it is, it isn't a UFO.

Looks like a shape underwater, why because it's an irregular shape in the sea do people then say "it flew in the air"?

Damn you, OP! My usual answer when I don't know/can't be bothered is "aliens". It doesn't fit here though. No I have to think of something else. I know - it's fungus. From now on, anything I am unsure about is or is the result of fungus until I can prove otherwise.

Either that or it's Cthulhu's frisbee.

Edit - At Sizzles' suggestion: I'm not going to venture any guess as to what it is (it's way too grainy). However, it turns out to be an alien, I'm telling everyone I called it.

Isn't this two years old already? I distinctly remember seeing that picture about a year ago and even then it wasn't news...
The ocean is also 70% of the earth's surface, one would expect to find strangely shaped geological formations and such somewhere down there seeing as we've already got stuff like the giant's causeway up here.

Looks kind of like a Dralthi class fighter from the original Wing Commander.

Not that it's likely to be anything but a cool rock formation

It looks like a rock formation, maybe with a better photo (we've been able to take decent looking underwater photos for a while now right?) I'd be able to comment otherwise.

Add text, add it now, or you will feel the wrath of the admins.
Just a friendly warning.

OP:
Well... that looks like... something.
I've seen things before, and let me tell you that looks like a thing alright.

A funny shaped rock, and until proved otherwise..its a rock. I dont really see the point of conspiracy theories and turning it into a guessing game.

I thought we defined a UFO for something that was flying. Other than that, how do we know what a "spaceship" looks like?

I've got it! It's a USO, a Unidentified Sunken Object - the most common causes of USOs are shopping trolleys.

Eh, it's a slow news day.

The comments section in the link seems to think that it's a rock carried by a glacier, which melted and left the rock behind. Makes sense to me.
