So now that TGC's time making exclusives for Playstation is over, lets have a quick look back.

During their time developing for Playstation, they created 3 stellar game experiences; Flow, Flower and Journey. All of which are great games, Journey being my favourite personally. The games were like no others that have ever been released, or as they would like to describe them 'Poetry in motion'.

I really do love these games, Flower was the first game I played from them, and I was blown away by it. The graphics, the gameplay, the music, the atmosphere, everything. It all came together to make one incredible and moving experience in a way that no other game has.

But Journey is where I really fell in love with the developer. On my first play through, I stuck with one guy all the way to the end. And due to the nature of the game, we never spoke, and could barely interact. But we still stuck together, in a way that I have never done with someone in a game before. And it wasn't out of necessity; the game is just as easy to finish on your own, but we continued regardless. And towards the end, I thought I had lost him.

SPOILER ALERT
But then, when I began flying above the clouds near the end, I heard that familiar chiming sound again and he was there, right behind me.
SPOILERS END

We finished the game together, and it's something I normally struggle to do, I normally struggle to play one game straight for more than an hour or so unless I really love it, and I played Journey for about 2 and a half hours to the end. I didn't want to leave my partner, I felt attached to him.

But now I'm digressing, what I'm trying to say is that TGC has created experiences that are completely different to anything else out there, and I hope they carry this on.

What are your thoughts on TGC and their games? Have you played their games? What are your experiences with them?

They no doubt make very unique games and everything very nicely put together, first two were a bit to cotton candy for me because you just got something nice to chew but there was no weight to it.
Journey on the other hand is their big timer and to me probably the most immersive emotional experiences in recent years, sadly not for other platforms... but it is one of those games everyone who dares call them self a gamer should have under their belt.

Their future isn't looking that good however, they intend to expand into facebook and tablets... markets so rotten I wouldn't even want to associate with gaming.
Plus they are taking on a former EA Mobile CEO, company famous for bringing all the worse EA business practices to portable devices.

They make good games that hold zero replay value for me but I've had worse dinners for 15 bucks, so I can't complain a lot.
