Obsession with jumping from very high places.
This was especially severe in GTA IV.

Oh, and I killed half of Megaton in VATS while jumping off from Simms' balcony.
Sweeet.

That teddy bear thing will come in useful in... THE PITT! :D

How? I don't remember that.

Oh, and it's gotta be Gnomes for me, as many as I can get.

Well, I have a lot of superstitions in gaming, but that's not really what you're looking for. I guess that probably the behaviour that's most obsessive is when I'm stealthing. If I'm playing a stealthy character - even one more than strong enough to survive a firefight - I absolutely have to get through a section unseen. I've restarted levels just because I've fucked up the stealth. I think it's because I've gotten so used to playing characters with maxed out stealth that it really annoys me when I start a new character and, suddenly, I stand out like a neon elephant smoking a cigar and singing 'Old Man River'.

I'm also a compulsive reloader. I can have one bullet out the clip and I have to reload.

I was a pre-war money collecter in Fallout 3.

Oblivion, I'd open every crate I came across, even though I had more then enough money to get whatever I needed. I did it mostly for hammers, but I guess it was a little obsessive. I also collected books and stored them.

On occasion on the L4D2 demo, if I decapitate a zombie with the guitar, I want to scream like Eddie Riggs.

I was just playing Fallout 3 and realised that my "obsession" had gone too far when I blew a woman up with a grenade because she saw me stealing a hammer... For some unknown reason I was taking hammers anytime I saw them, I never sold them I just took them back to my house and put them in the filing cabinet next to the bed. :D
In the same game I collected sporks. Just lined 'em up on the coffee table.

WHY!?

In The Pitt, after you save the baby and join the slavers the woman looking after the baby asks you to bring teddy bears.

When I first started playing Fallout 3 I would pick up every Nuka-Cola Quantum I could find. Wouldn't sell them, wouldn't drink them, I would just find them and horde them in my house. Then my brother informed me that I would need my Quantum for a side mission. I went right out to find Sierra's house and when I got there I already had more than enough so I guess my hording paid off. I also collected cups for some reason.

LOL of course but you have to explain how :D. Like me, I was slightly disturbed when I was getting such a thrill out of equipping the strong arms, grabbing someone, then throwing them with full force onto a wall and watching their soft bodies break into pieces. Also I just loved grabbing someone, throwing them far, and trying to chase their bodies to see the splatter *creepy giggle*.

Also in Oblivion I found out I have a deer-hunting fetish. Every time I saw a deer or group of deer I would chase after them non-stop like a lion until I caught up to one and killed it. Once I even followed a deer into a river just to slaughter it on the spot and felt a disturbing satisfaction out of seeing their dead carcass floating in the water.

I just did the ground slam to the same person again and again and again and killed every civilian on the street.

If you grab them again before they stop bouncing it counts as you didn't kill them!

You can also power bomb the same person multiple times if you keep pressing grab when you both fly into the air again. It's fun!

Well I started playing Oblivion again a month ago...I've found myself using the duplication glitch to spawn a ton of melons in any small body of water or a small room.
I don't know why but I like it.
I'll also start randomly shooting my arrows into the air.
Oh yeah and being in sneak mode just for the hell of it.

Whenever I'm using a sniper in ANY game, any kills that aren't headshots don't seem to count for me.

In Fallout 3, I carry around about 150 grenades at all times, then reverse pickpocket one onto somebody whenever I can.

In Oblivion, I always pick up Daedric Armor. No matter what. I have about 100 sets in a literal pile in my Chorrol house.

In stealth games, if I'm ever caught in even the slightest way, I have to load a previous game. MUST REMAIN PERFECTLY HIDDEN!!!

I will always carry a variety of celebration items(pony kegs, dancing flame braziers, etc.) in World of Warcraft. I also suffer from "But if I use it now, what if I need it later?" syndrome, so I also have tons of consumables that I never use.
Also, in every game I play, I want to use every possible ability at least once to kill something. Or master the timing and usage of all of my favorite character's abilities(i.e. SSBB Lucas' PK Thunder hitting himself to recover or tackle someone).

In my Prototype game, Alex Mercer seems to be the type of person that will repeatedly jump on a car with his highest jump, until it explodes, then he moves on to the next. Still haven't got to blow up that tank.

I'm an explorer. If there's a tower or a pile of rocks I really want to know whether I can get onto the top of it. Even if that means perching on a statue and leaping over a chasm to be deflected from a big bell and drop onto a ledge and then sidestep to the end and jump ...

It's a rather useful talent in some places, even in a MMORPG. Noone ever believes me, though, so I still have to teach people how to jump while we're fighting a dozen lvl 165 creatures from the black lagoon with triple-damage criticals.

So far, I've only once managed to stand on top of a tree.
I do that sometimes in oblivion and one time i was on a tree branch on the inside of the tree. Needless to say i pretended i was i ninja for about 30 min.

The more horrifying ways I kill someone in a game or the more times i kill someone or something I start diabolically laughing. While shouting things at it. Anger management anyone?
And if I can throw someone off the edge of a cliff or something I laugh more and enjoy it more.
