Um, EVERYTHING about the military in the movie "The Hills Have Eyes 2". Did they have a military advisor or did they just make it up as they went along. It ruined the whole movie for me (okay, made it worse since I thought it was bad anyway). Seriously though, they perform horribly in the training scenario yet are assigned to protect a top secret research facility? They have a female as Infantry (as of this writing, the US military does not permit women to be Infantry. Don't ask me why, I don't make the rules). They lay their weapons down, walk away from the squad, and all have random uniforms. By "random uniforms", I mean that some are wearing their LBE and others aren't, nobody is wearing their field bandage on their LBE, and things like that.

Also, the same type of thing bugged me in "Dear John" when the soldiers were in the field and some had camo rags on their helmet while others didn't. Why?! Also, as a sidenote: my sister-in-law had no idea what a "Dear John" letter meant, lasted 10 minutes out of what was meant to be a very light and easy 2 hour workout, and refuses to work out or study yet thinks she will make it in the military. She's even talked to a recruiter! I just think that's laughable...and sad. (I was being REALLY nice, when I normally prep people for enlistment I get really mean and stuff. Not this time. I didn't want her to quit on the first day by it being ultra tough and scaring her off of like the last guy...oh well, I weed out the weak so the military doesn't have to do it.)

PS: I used to be a Combat Medic in the U.S. Army and if you want good prep for the military, let me know. I'll let you know what you need to do and what to know. If you live near Cocoa Beach, FL then let me know and I'll do my best to make sure you're ready (that's where I live). It won't be easy but "The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in war". Also, please don't waste my time. I've already dealt with enough people saying that they "truly can make it" who end up never showing up or quitting on the first day. I'm honestly not that mean...some people just refuse to put forth any actual effort.

Amen brother Amen. I have never seen a game where a minor mistake in turn 5 can result in a lost unit in turn 7. I love that game but it drives me mad (especially in harder difficulties)
in Fire Emblem on the GBA i beat both Lyn and Eliwood's hard difficulty.
So i tried Hector's.
NEVER AGAIN!

Don't flame me. Most of the holodeck episodes didn't make any sense and/or were just ridiculous.
I don't think people are going to flame you for that. You're absolutely right to call BS on the Holodeck. The amount of times that thing malfunctions, you'd think there would be an "Emergency Holodeck Shutdown" command.

Seymour and Giant Malboros from FFX.

I mean, once you get anti-Zombie equipment, then Seymour and Lady Yunalesca become piss-easy, but when you get to Seymour Flux on top of Gagazet, it's the first time you've seen the Zombie ailment, so you don't have a fucking clue!! And you can't skip that annoying-as-fuck cut scene right before it. And the Giant Malboros are automatic ambush, so unless you have anti-confusion AND anti-berserk gear on, or auto-esuna or auto-heal, you're fucked.

I also call BS on that one Kingdom Hearts fight against Riku... and that boss-fight in Neverland after you leave Neverland for the first time... and the final boss-fight... You know what, I call BS on Kingdom Hearts!!

Fuck you and your bullshit Miltank.
She was really hard in gold!

Are you saying she is still hard in soulsilver?! (This post sounds wrong)
HAHAHAHA They didn't make her any easier in the remakes!? God I hated that broad on the original Gameboy Color Gold/Silver. Nice to see they didn't dumb her down any (as much as I HATED that fight.)

I always cry BS in Pokemon where the opponent can use Double Team to raise their evasion a million times and YOU can't hit THEM but if you raise your evasion a million times they STILL hit you like you just wasted 5 turns sitting on your ass doing nothing.

Super smash bros brawl. I just don't have much appreciation for it. I don't call it BS because i'm bad at it, but it got rated 10 i think, and it isn't that good IMHO.

All of the Crash Bandicoot games after Naughty Dog. All of the 3D Sonic Games. The lack of decent Point-n-click games around.

Ruin my childhood favourites will you!?

Agreed. I couldn't believe it when they gave Beatrice as a playable character, then I couldn't wait for them to take her away.

The worst case of this is when they drop a critical on one of your main characters, which really gives you the shaft.

That does not happen.
I think that that moment should be a B.A. Moment and not a B.S. one.

Agreed, it's an interesting idea, but the episodes where it plays a big role tend to be rather bland. It's really just an excuse for the writers to use magic, or whatever else they normally can't get away with
It also seemed to be a lazy writer's way of resolving an issue.

I also thought about it a little more and the holodeck would have to be self cleaning cause you know it would be covered in all sorts of body fluid. I don't know about you but I woundn't be using it to re-create a play or whatever lame shit they were doing.

I came up with one, mostly since I'm stuck on one right now. I'm stuck in an open area, and I have to defend ONE person from unending numbers while he twiddles his thumbs off somewhere. There are no health pickups, no ammo crates, and I face enemies from all sides and above.

Bottom line: Escort and Protection. Good for the story, but piss poor for the gameplay. Because the only way out of it is to get lucky enough not to get your ass handed to you.

The usual action movie cliches....

*Bad guys die if a bullet so much grazes their ear, but the hero can take 5 bullets to the heart & keep going.

*Machine guns that have endless amunition. Those things usually empty themselves in 10-30 seconds & need to be reloaded.

*Car blows up if a bullet hits the gas tank.

*The antihero, who does countless property damage & villain-murder, gts off scott-free with no arrest or charges.

*The love interest is always a helpless braindead hottie who's only purpose in the movies is to provide fanservice & be saved.

For me it's that screwdriver from Dr. Who. Can anyone else think of a moment, person, or item that's total B.S.?
I did read a theory once where someone suggested that it wasn't actually a sonic or a screwdriver, it was more a device to amplify some sort of timelord telekinesis. That it worked more like a green lantern ring, whatever you could imagine it doing it could. This theory gets let down however when non timelords use it.

Anyway its basically a plot device...
