I think the First Cut thing was a bit lame. We were actually ahead of most of the videos in terms of positive comments (whatever that means), until the First Cut was announced, at which point all interest in any other videos ceased. Nobody bothered turning from the first page. You might as well just have deleted everything else except the 25 chosen ones.

I dunno, maybe that was the point. But I would've at least liked more feedback before the end of the competition. We got like, one day of fair perusal before the First Cutters swept up the rest of the viewers.
