I don't drink, but I know some drinking games.
Shot for shot: Every time you take a shot, take another shot afterwards.
Shot glass checkers: Every time you jump a piece you drink it. Or you drink whatever your opponent jumps. Depends what you're trying to get out of the game.

I would not suggest these rules to anybody, but back when I was in university, I got to bear witness to the Dragonheart drinking game...played by a couple of my friends with beer steins of Crown Royal.

The rules were as follows:

- If the dragon flies, take a drink.
- If the dragon breathes fire, take two drinks.
- If somebody gets impaled, chug.

If you haven't seen this movie, there are things you should know about it...

- The first thing that happens is somebody gets impaled.
- There are multiple scenes where the dragon takes off, flaps his wings two or three times, lands again, takes off, etc.

This game reduced my friends to tears. To this day, they will not watch Dragonheart again.

Also, take a sip every time someone mentions the Knight's Code, or a virtue from the Knight's Code.

I just saw Avengers: Age of Ultron

-Take a sip every time a robot gets destroyed.

-Chug every time Ultron's body gets destroyed.

I also recently saw Captain America.

- Drink whenever there's a bright blue light on the screen

- Chug when it's from the Tesseract.

Top Gun.

Pick a "callsign" (Maverick, Goose, Iceman, Hollywood, Jester, Viper) and drink every time it's mentioned.

Or Top Gun "Hardcore Mode"

-Take a shot every time someone's callsign is mentioned.

-Waterfall when Danger Zone is playing.

My personal favourite is the Vampire's Kiss drinking game:
-Take a shot every time Nicolas Cage appears to be drunk.

The Groundhog Day drinking game. Whenever the day changes, take a shot! Have 42 shots lined up. Take turns with someone else, probably.

I've only done one movie drinking game, and that was for The Boondock Saints. We only had one rule: drink whenever somebody swears.

Oh dear, I remember that.

I drink vodka like water, but that whole experience left me unable to cross my own living room.

Still, it was the best christmas I've ever had.
