Definitely the music, tv programs and movies. This decade just doesn't compare.

Remember that time in the 90s when MTV killed the music industry? Yeah...
Also, how can we do a thread about missing the 90s when the average of this age is like 12. These people can't even remember when the Fresh Prince was still in production. Or Kenan and Kel. How can you live with yourself if you didn't grow up watching Kenan and Kel?
"AWWWW HERE IT GOES."
While I'm at it, Thundercats was in the 80s.

I miss there being a sense of wonder in the world. Now I'm too bored with everyhthing to be truly excited about anything anymore.

Cartoon Network, the PlayStation, all the alternative music, and the DDR machines that seemed to have now vanished.

Figure it out. That show was awesome.

And the music. Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Red hot Chili Peppers. I could go on and on.

80% of the comic titles of the day involving the word "blood" or the name of some weapon and/or being misspelled for no apparent reason.

The superhero names being misspelled for no apparent reason.

Flannel shirts.

People speaking in brain numbingly dumb lingo with sentences like " 'sup B?" and "All that and a bag of chips."

Gum packets that had little comics inside and/or removable tattoos that made the gum taste like a heap of parrot droppings.

The comedy duo, Fry & Laurie.

Fountain pens that didn't completely suck and held together for more than 12 years.

Comfortable and simple footwear that didn't make me look like an utter bloody dolt.

The cartoons (Inspector Gadget, Darkwing Duck, Batman, Gargoyles, etc). Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? game show. Analog TV and antennas, as my family had nothing but until 2001. Can't really claim to miss N64 as I still have/play it often enough.

Things were much brighter and colourful back in the '90s. Nowadays, even the innocent world of video games is largely consisting of dark, gritty violent games.

Grunge.

I really didn't get to capitalize on the shredded flannel look nearly as much as I'd wanted.
