Those fraking Menchi colony's were a back water then, toeing the empire line, Not some rumored Mecca, where the streets are paved with gold, the envy of all the barbarians in this squalid Area of the universe. And you know who's fault it is. Well, I'll tell you whose fault it is. Its those space daemons, The SkullDrugger, Who took our home world, glorious Imperial Terra, and made it a death world, devoid of life.

The year is AR1083 in the arm, A grim future, Where man kind has risen and fallen a dozen times, Where glorious armies and grand crusades have clashed, Aliens have been encountered and crushed. Man kind once spanned from one side of the galaxy to the other. Grand sultans, Scheming Kings, and All powerful emperors controlled the fate of billions, if not trillions of people. But that was a long time ago. Humanity has faded. where once it populated millions of planets, only a few thousand are still habited. But it wasn't some outside force that did this to humanity. It wasn't the proud Hrud, the Devil Hind mind of the Skrul, or the Fluid politics of Asmari. Humanity whiped them from the face of the galaxy long ago.
No, it was humanity its self.
The Use of the old tech, found in the the library of Zarcosh after its sacking by the Leogians, allowed them them to build the Tevolia Grav-gun, Which in turn ended the 8th trade war, when they Slammed the Planet of Galfray into the capital planet of the Trade federation of io's. The gun was then lost, when the ship it was mounted to was lost on route to the front lines during the 9th trade war 20 years later.

By the Year 1000 AR, humanity had rallied again. A former shadow of what it had been in the year 1 AR. humanity now inhabited a small area of space surrounding its Home world, the crumbling Capital that was terra. But for the first time in a 1000 years, that last bastion of humanity was united again. The Terran empire held the last hundred worlds of humanity under its grasp. it began to extent its grasp. Colony ships were sent to the far away Menchi stars, long abandoned by humanity. but this great time of peace lasted only 50 years. By Ar 1049, The Menchi Colony's were in open revolt against the empire. Fed up with taxes and lack of representation, They declared them selves septate from the empire.
The empire responded by Sending a war fleet, dozens of the best ships of the dwindling and ill repaired navy made the dangerous and month long trek over the Menchi void to those far away planets.
The first few battles went well. Drop troops at Menar massacred the ill-prepared Menchi militias.

At Zenchar, Empire ships virus bombed the cities of that planet. This would be the turning point of the war. The Menchi rebels quickly fell under the command of the Religious zelots of the Cath-gozol as word of the killing of billions broke out. . over the smoking ruins of Menar, they destroyed the Empire fleet, and their own Crusade fronts made ready for a counter invasion of the empire. The empire was pushed back in series of bloody battles on the boarder worlds along the Menchi void. At Alpha-Niska, the Menchi Broke the might of the Senate guard legion, the elite remnants of the empire army. From this point, without major intervention, the empire was doomed. The remaining Pickets and fleet elements drew back to terra to make a last stand, And in the hidden Science facility's, the Scientists of the empire worked on something that could change the course of the war.
The result of the battle of terra were never really known.......

The last transmissions received by any out sider spoke of an inconclusive battle around mars, and that the Something called SkullDrugger had been unleashed. Then everything was silent. For the next few months, Terra was silent. At Delj, the represntives of what was left of the empire met with the high Warden of the remaining Menchi forces, and they agreed to a peace. The empire wold be broken up. The Menchi would go back to where they came from. End of it all.
Then suddenly there was a message from terra. a huge galaxy wide loop. It read. "The SkullDrugger" just that single name, repeated over and over again. In the thirty year sinse the Battle of Terra, The SkullDrugger have appeared on one occasion.
The first, at purging of Alpha-Centari, a planet close to earth, resulted in massive casualty's. as the SkullDrugger swept into the system on massive ships, Before unloading huge armies onto the surface, and leaving as fast as they appeared. Even know, even with the help of Allied troops from half a dozen principality's and kingdoms, the people of Alpha Centari are still waging a bloody Trench war.

Super Capitals
The Super capital: Gals breath, of the late lamented empire, was found in the ruins of Old Io's, one of the fortress worlds of the Long gone Sevestion holds. the ship was destroyed during fleet actions at Alpha-Niska. but not before taking 18 ships of the line with it.
Classes of super capital ships in production: None. Man Kind no longer has the knowledge to make and produce super Capitals. Each super capital must be found, and scavenger teams search long beyond the boarders of the current human worlds in search of them.
Bio: Each Super Capital is a relic, a item of a time long past. Most of the ones found in the last 500 years have been found in the Eastern reaches, But as man kinds influence and holding in the universe has decreased, so has its ability to access that area of space. A trek to the Eastern Reaches to day would take 20 years each way, now that the old relay system has decayed beyond use. And even then, they are almost impossible to find. This has deterred most, but every year, a new expedition sets off, powering off into the once known.
Crew: Most of the 3 or so Capital ships still used have crews of about 800, a huge number above that of even a capital, and have room to transport 40,000 or more.
Weapons: Most super capitals are armed with at least 20 *class 1* Weapons, 80 *class 2* and over 300 *class 3* Making them huge combat beasts.

The Swarm Hive- the swarm hive is a close troop assault Capital, its armed with hundreds of short range troop shuttles, who can board and take over enemy ships.

The objective of each ship in a dogfight is to avoid the tunnels of other ships while keeping theirs on hostiles long enough to allow a shockwave to hit. Detection systems in ships look for unknown targeting frequencies playing over the hull and alert the pilot to them.
Larger capital ships do not possess the maneuverability to dodge the tunnels, and so refract the tunnel using vibrations in their hull plating. This spreads the normally-concentrated shock-wave along a large portion of the hull in the same way bulletproof armor spreads the penetrative impact of a bullet. These vibrations would rear a smaller ship apart, and so are only used on ships with high tonnage.
To overcome a capital ship's 'shielding', a pilot must manually adjust the targeting frequency of his weapons to match the unknown frequency of the capital ship's hull while making sure that the beam is firmly trained on the hull and that the targeting beams of other fighters and the capital ship itself are not trained on him.

History: His parents were scientists investigating a disturbing and mysterious tear in the universe suspected to have been caused by old tech experimental weaponry. This crack expanded incredibly quickly, eating up hundreds of miles of the universe every day. The colonists there were froced to evacuate before they could get any idea on what it was. His parents landed on a trading planet known a cuvania, and Shanks was incredibly interested in weaponry at a very yound age. He slowly learnt how to mod weapons, any weapons, to suit his needs. He was placed in jail for ten years after he finished his weapon training, for assisting the murder of his mother. He has always denied this. He was taken to the hardest jail on that planet, and the only reason he survived was his weapons training. He has just been released from the jail, and wants revenge on who he believes to have really killed his mother...

It also has a large spinning disk on top which he claims could cut through a diamond like butter. He has other bits and bobs in his rucksack, the contents unknown, as he never opens it. Home planet: Malod, a small Ice planet where ones survival may depend on their willingness to kill. The world was used as a prison planet with civilians living on it in the good old day growing some food, but much of the food was shipped in then and they still rely on food shipments to survive.
History: A child of the dragon clan Vince often had to fight with the other child gangs. He hated the planet so he snuck onto a transport at the age of thirteen with enough food for a few days and his knife. When they next landed the planet seemed to be the biggest spaceport in the world to him. He soon fell in with the local gangs and discovered he is good at sneaking around and even better at taking things. Since then he has taken lives or loot remembering the one lesson his home world taught him How to be cold and hard.
Weapons and armor:
-Dual Knives: He has never forgotten how his knife saved him as a kid so he has simply gotten better ones.![]()
-Dual silenced pistols
-He carries an assault rifle with a scope attached (image just to give you a base idea not the actual gun)![]()
-Skinweave armor: it fits close to the skin so you can wear clothes over it, I may be able to stop a few shot from average guns but big guns would chew through this armor. As Vince prefers stealth he thinks of armor as a get out of crap card. If you need big armor you messed up big.
-Poisons: Lance tends to keep a few vials of poison around, usually based just off mixing whatever the locals of the planet warn him not to eat or mixing medications. So far only a few have not had the desired effect, but he seems to be getting better.
Tools: Based on his time riding ships and breaking into security systems he has accumulated a few tools.
-Lock picks/cracker (depending on how your locks work)
-Generic tool set: wire cutters, pliers, knife, bottle opener, small knife, ect all in one! Ships are easy to break just as some cheap security, break enough wires or jam enough of the key component and bam end of story.here.![]()

History: Agustin started out as a space marine, and worked his way up to the elite Senate guard. He was sent off with another squadron to protect a senator, who was strangely valuable, in what was supposed to be a stealthy, covert escape (one ship only). But the Menchi entered orbit sooner than expected, and the stealthy escape became an intense and desperate run into jump-ready space. Only a few made it, and the ship was badly damaged. Luckily, they drifted near a backwater space station, where the sleazy senator was able to fool a dumb half-deaf pirate into trading ships. They ran off as soon as they could, hoping to make it into hyperspace before the pirate actually bothered to inspect the ship himself.
The remnants of the squad agreed that they would now stop using their helmets, but they have too much of an emotional and traditional significance to just be thrown away, so they were kept with them at all times. After many months on the run, the Menchi finally tracked them down and surrounded them in a warehouse on the bad side of a bad town in an lawless ex-industrial city. Only Agustin escaped, and that was only after everyone else was killed bu the enemy or finished bleeding to death. Still, he killed many more Menchi before the day was over.
He now works here and there as a mercenary and gun for hire, his only rule now being that he will never work for the Menchi, and will always work against their efforts when possible.
Weapons and armor: He uses Infinitium Armor (super-rare, super-strong) under normal civilian clothes, but carries his helmet inside a big travel bag full of supplies. His weapon of choice is the Objection I-4 (http://www.marstar.ca/gf-norinco/images/M14-105-02-L.jpg), a foldable weapon that can serve both as a small handgun or as an all-out assault rifle.

Menchi Travel Advisory
Delka is one of the last ancient Forge Worlds, once these massive planetary foundries fueled much of the Empire's expansion efforts. Its citizens would live in massive archologies where hydroponics and water purification would supply everyone's needs. Nowadays many of the worlds have fallen into either disrepair and are unusable or were entirely destroyed in the various Trade Wars.
Delka may have survived the crucible of the Trade Wars, but it now lives in a state of perpetual civil war. Various corporations, both large and small wage an endless war over control of the various factories and archologies on Delka. Gangs of corporate shock troopers and independent contractors will launch assaults on compound of Rival Corporation to gain physical control of property.
Currently the Bushani Corporation controls a majority 43% of the arcologies and factories on Delka and the port city of Akria is considered to be the safest location on the planet with a crime rate of 12% and attack by rivals at 19%.
In orbit is the debris of ships that have perished in the endless war for control of the planet. Several salvaging operations are operated by the corporations, but attacks by rival's leaves these positions exposed. However, visitors to the planet will most likely also see the massive Vulcan shipyards, a massive two hundred kilometer space station that appears above Delkas North Pole. Commonly called The Halo, this stations functions as the one neutral ground available at Delka and is respected by almost all of the major corporations on Delka. Along with ship construction, this facility serves as a transit terminal for incoming and outgoing personnel and material as well at a massive terminal for the Delken space elevators.
The Halo is run by the small, but influential Ashford Corporation. Almost all corporations on Delka have sworn to protect The Halo, as it is the sole life line that keeps Delka afloat financially. Any attacks on The Halo have resulted in the utter annihilation of the attacks. The most recent example was in AR 1042, the third most powerful corporation, the Dalmer Corporation, attempted to seize control of the Halo. An alliance of the Afstanza, Excalibur and Bushani Corporation saw not only the destruction of the Dalmer fleet, but the seizer of over 93% of the Dalmer Corporation's holdings on Delka.
Despite the horrid way of life the approximately 14 billion people on Delka must endure, the planet supplies around one third of all industrial goods and ships throughout the Arm. Many have flocked to the planet seeking employment in the lucrative fields of Salvaging and Mercenary protection.
Currently there are only three recognized laws on Delka
1. Respect the Neutrality of the Ring
2. All commitments in deals must be followed through by both the contractor and the contracted
3. If you didn't read the fine print, tough luck.
Travelers are advised to go with armed guard and try to conduct all deals aboard the Halo

With child mortality rate at around 63%, the children who lived to their sixteenth birthday tended to have some natural combat skills and reflexes. Corporate recruiters would often troll the slums looking for new recruits. Eventually Mila joined up to escapes the slum life. She was placed in an officer training course after she read the fine print on her contact, which would have obligated her to stay a corporate soldier for twenty seven years. Corporate standards for squad leaders was low (given that most corporate soldiers had a life expectancy of three years) so being smart enough to look for fine print automatically qualified you to lead a squad of untrained morons.
Mila lead her squad in various encounters for five years before her contract expired. She continued to operate independently for four more years, sometimes smuggling goods to various corporations and needy civilians and other times fighting freelance for a corporation if the pay was good enough.
However, Mila eventually grew sick of the constant warfare on her planet and eventually took her saving and bought a ticket off the rock to the farthest planet she knew, Xhi.
Like most people from Delka, Mila is extremely obsessive compulsive when it comes to examining things for detail (a trait that comes from a place where fine print and defect can kill you) as well as using exact numbers. Furthermore, like most children from Delka, Mila has a mild from of ADHD which manifest in her appearing anxious when not occupied with a given task.

Home planet:Joke was born to a small colony on the planet Zenx. Zenx was a natural planet, much like the earth, and it boasted great oceans, tall carbon mountains, wide plains, and lumbering forests. The planet seemed like an ideal spot except for one small fact. The air contained a rare chemical that caused metallic bonds to break apart slowly overtime, resulting in a deformation of metal into dust. As a result, the planet was left alone and not much colonization was ever done. Metal objects could be saved only if they were not exposed to the air. The plant life on the planet was extremely interesting, and had many wondrous applications that scientists wished to study, but they could not as the plants would die too quickly when uprooted, and they could not be grown anywhere that did not have the metal breakdown chemical, referred to as Nature's Myst. Animal life was not seen on the planet beyond the microscopic level.History:Joke is from the planet Zenx, a planet that contains an airborne chemical that breaks down metallic bonds in most metals. The planet is rich in plant life and water, but the chemical, Xavier's Myst, prevents much colonization.Zenx was established by the followers of a cult who believed that humans had taken technology too far, and they decided to become one with nature. As such, the cult took a ship to their new colony, and disembarked with nothing but homegrown food and stone tools with which to begin a new life. The colony began with some 2000 settlers along the plains that stood between a great tropical forest, and a large ocean. The colony soon settled and took root, but after four years a terrible disease struck and the colony. Without any modern medical science, they soon fell till only one young man remained, untouched by the plague, Joke. This man had been a chemist before he joined the cult, and he had only joined because his wife had soon before the colony was started. Unknown to some of the cult members, Joke had smuggled some of his chemistry supplies with him, and he had been studying Xavier's Myst ever since he arrived. Before his chemistry tools were broken down completely, he had learned how to synthesize Xavier's Myst and had also learned that when concentrated into a liquid form, it would turn metal to dust in a mere few seconds. He also learned that Xavier's Myst did not affect glass, which provided him with a method to transport the liquid. If the liquid is exposed to air however, it will turn back into a gas and disperse after a few second. After the death of the colony, Joke lived alone in the wilderness for a one year, until a new batch of colonists, also members of the cult arrived. Joke warned them of the plague, bu the cult decided to remain on the planet regardless. Jake however, took the ship back the the main world, where he became a well known mercenary thanks to his ability to use Xavier's Myst.Weapons: Xavier's Myst is Joke's main weapon. He carries an illegally moddified silenced sniper rifle (known as the P.O.I.S.I.O.N series long range rifle) that can fire the glass canisters that he keeps Xavier's Myst in as well as standard bullets. Beyond this, he carries a pair of small TK-42 Sub-machine Guns, an electrically charged short sword, and a few glass grenades that also contain Xavier's Myst and explode when they are set and thrown.Joke was a member of a cult that believed in nor using modern tech, and only relying on simple natural tools. The cult settled on Zenx, and was wiped out. He joined because his wife had joined. He was a chemist, and he learned how to synthesize Xavier's Myst by smuggling chemistry tools with him to the colony. He now works as a mercenary.
Armour: Joke wears a set of standard bullet resistant armor. Strong enough to take a hit or two, but nothing special. He does however, wear a special bandoleer that is made out of non-metalic components, and helps to prevent the glass he carries from getting shattered.
