I usually tell Goat his favourite bedtime story, what's yours?
Isn't it Goodnight Moon?
I'm not sure I know that one...so I'll make it up.
Aren't I looking forward to it?
There was once a little girl, just like Vivie.
Aren't I going to like this story?
One night, the little girl, Gina, looked up at the night sky. She wondered what was up there.
What happened next?
She decided to go and see what was up among the stars...
She got into her TARDIS bed and closed her eyes.
Did she see the stars?
Of course she did. Don't ask stupid questions.
She felt a funny feeling in her stomach, and opened her eyes. And saw.
The Stars.
Giant fluttering balls of bright light, against the empty blackness of space.
And then her head exploded And the she came upon this huge white thing. It was so big she couldn't see what shape it was.
What was it? What was it?
She picked a bit off and ate it. Remember children, never ever eat things if you don't know what they are. But Gina did, and she knew at once what the big thing was.
Do you know?
...A marshmallow?
No. The Moon is not a marshmallow. >.< You didn't hear that.
She sat there, and stared at the huge white thing, which she now knew was round. She loved it even more than lying down by the fire with marshmallows.
*dramatic pause*
It was cheese! She had found the Moon!
And then, it started moving. Gina hurried to get out of the way, but the Moon swiveled round and didn't move much.
:O Was she scared?
[I had to sleep at this point]
Well. I've completely forgotten where I was going with this...
*ahem*
The Moon turned around, revealing a face, not scary or creepy, just...comforting. Like my face.
And then The Moons huge mouth opened and it spoke.
"Hello Vivie. I'm Fat Man Moon. How are you?
Didn't she reply happily and with a grin?
Of course she did. Don't ask stupid questions.
She replied (Happily, and with a grin) "Hello Fat Man Moon, I've never heard you called that before."
The Moon then told her "I have many names. Moony, FMM...Or just The Moon."
"It must be very lonely up here." Remarked Vivie. "I have company. There's Gilbert Mercury, VaudevillianVenus, GuitarJupiter (I know, shut up) , Saturn Goat, MarsRaptor..."
"They all seem familiar somehow."
"They are."
"Oh."
Did she stay with Moony for a while and meet his friends?
Of course she did. Don't ask stupid questions.
"Can I meet them?"
"Well, VaudevillianVenus is asleep, but the others should be awake..."
And so Moony floated off. It was weird how he moved. He seemed to stay perfectly still whilst space moved around him. It must have something to do with SCIENCE! Well, then they came upon two things much like Moony, but larger. One appeared to be doing something to the other, but Gina couldn't see what. It involved whips and lots of rope though.
Well children, can you guess who it is?
Wasn't one of them MarsRaptor or Saturn Goat...? *smiles*
Of course they were. Don't ask stupid questions.
So, Gina and Moony float up to the two 'Escapists', Moony had explained a bit to Gina about what they were, and they said hello.
(This is where I'd bring in Pararaptor and Swollen Goat, but they aren't online...)
Weren't they nice?
Of course they were. Don't ask stupid questions.
Marsraptor and Saturn Goat stopped whatever they were doing and came over.
"Hello little girl!" Said Marsraptor with a creepy look on his face.
"Hi!" Said Saturn Goat.
"Hello you two, up to Mars's usual stuff I expect?" Asked Moony.
"Oh yes, would you like to join us?" Asked Marsraptor excitedly.
"I'll give it a pass thanks" Moony replied, looking as if he was about to be sick.
"Nonsense!" Marsraptor ripped the ropes off Saturn Goat and tied Moony up.
Saturn Goat approached Gina. "We should probably go now, Moony'll never recover."
"Awww..." Gina agreed reluctantly.
Didn't she cheer up though?
Of course she did. Don't ask stupid questions.
So Gina went with Saturn Goat, and soon they came upon another Escapist.
"Hello Gilbert!" Called Goat.
Did Gilbert and Goat have a manly hug?
I'unno, wasn't looking. Er, Don't ask stupid questions.
Well Gilbert and Goat probably had a manly hug, and I've run out of ideas...
Aren't *yawn* you good at telling stories?
Won't we have to gather Praptor, Goat, Jee, and Gilch to tell the story properly?
But I'm glad you liked it. Night night Vivie.
*makes sure you're snugly tucked in, kisses you on the forehead and turns the light off*
