Far into the future, a drug has been made in secret that can make you almost immortal. When you die after having been injected with it the drug, you are still able to die, but you'll be revived in a few moments. The drug has one flaw, though. Once you are revived, something about you will be changed. Personality, sanity, gender, a part of your body or your whole body, you never know. The scientist, along with his two assistants, has kidnapped 8 people and placed them two and two toghether in each of 4 dimensions. He has turned the drug into a game. Only he knows what the game revolves around.

And subjects, I only have room for two more people...
