Subject PR, no. Who says that they do. PS3s rarely break down actually. but the bad thing is that when they do you need to buy a new one.

Subject PR, they cost $300 or you can buy a used one like I did for like $250. Just save your money up and buy it if you want. I still have my 360, although I rarely turn it on because they don't really have a lot of platformers on them and I can't play FPS games because of my bad internet making my 360 almost completely useless to me.
