Ah, Subject Max, the hair color thing is this: When Funimation dubbed DBZ, they changed some aesthetics as well. For example, Bulma's Japanese hair is violet. But for some reason, when they changed her hair color, they didn't change Trunks. So, it's Funimation's fault.
