"yeeeessss" moaned Rachel tiredly as she closed her eyes

"Sweet dreams. We'll decide about Kelly when you wake up." Falo stood up, put Rachel in his seat and started playing with Kelly.

Marcus looked around.
"Well this is boring as hell."
Looks to Falo.
"What's up with you?"

 

[Lambi]

"Nothing. I'm just playing with Kelly. If Rachel wants her to be our adopted daughter, I'll have to be used to playing with her."

Marcus nodded.
"Ever heard the poem of Lord Loss?"

"Isn't that the poem you've been thinking from time to time?"

Marcus recited the poem.

Kelly jumped at Falo hoping too knock him over, unfortunately she was about the size of a puppy so she bounced off his chest

"Try again, Kelly." Falo readied himself to fall over when she tried again.
"No, Marcus, I don't. Care to tell me?"

"Lord Loss can be interpreted as multiple things, but the main meaning is whatever Lord loss is a manifestation of makes people miserable."
Marcus sat back.

Kelly jumped at Falo again

"Do you think it to be beautiful, Marcus? Or sad?" Falo let himself fall backwards when Kelly jumped at him again.
"Ah. Oh no. You have slain me." He put his tongue out and pretended to be dead, still clearly breathing.

Kelly started to wag her tail and lick his face, at one point she nibbled on his nose

"You're an energetic one, you know?" Falo said to Kelly before turning to Marcus.
"And why do you find it relevant this time?"

Kelly nipped at Falo before jumping at Marcus

Marcus reacted fats and caught her in mid air, then shook his finger at her, before setting her down.
"Because your relationship with Rachel saddens me, because it reminds me of the centuries I have spent alone."

 

[Lambi]

"I'm sorry that our relationship saddens you, but aren't you and Jess...?" Falo picked Kelly up and held her in his arms.

"Doubt it, if you thought Rachel was dead for sure, then you found her 2000 years later, would do you think she'd still love you?"

"Probably not. But you can at least feel good that you aren't the only werewolf around anymore. Right?" Falo scratched Kelly behind her ears as he held her in his arms.
