Victoria took another heavy sigh, resting a hand on Tony's head.
"I know, I know...but some things weren't meant to be cured like this. I know it's all for the greater good and you've done some good along with your bad, but you've taken what we had and manipulated it. Without our permission. Once again I will say greater good and we'd all take the cures if we had them, but what if you're wrong...?"

"then I try again, like I just did with Will, I alter the DNA and I try again until I get it right, and I'll keep trying until I die" said Rain, matter of factly

"I honor your dedication...What did you even do?" Victoria asked, a strange feeling in her stomach.

"I altered a different strand of DNA, he'll wake up in a few days with now memories of this little escapade, or I may have killed him, time will tell" said Rain, not even a hint of concern on his face

"You say that you think of them as your children, and yet...Never mind. It means nothing coming from me. I just wish you could at least pretend to look affected."

"I'm sorry Victoria, I've trained myself to show next to no emotions in the presence of others, I apologize if that unnerves you" said Rain, a slightly worried look replacing his usually still face

"It's alright...I can hardly blame you." Victoria sighed giving a weak smile. She yawned, the same feeling in her stomach. She didn't know what to call it.

 

[Rainboq]

"Nervous? scared?" asked Rain, well aware of what tomorrow would bring

"I'm not sure." Victoria replied truthfully, she felt exhausted, possibly because of the hysteria that had happened moments before, perhaps she was just tired.
"I think I'm going to get some sleep. We'll talk more about this in a few hours, it's far from over, I'm sad to say."

 

[Rainboq]

*yawns*"I guess your right Victoria, I am tried. Hey pilots! Set us down for the night!" Rain called out
The helicopter began to descend towards an empty parking lot, the "little birds" doing the same

Victoria carefully lifted Tony off of her lap, so not to wake him and handed him over to Rain.
"He'll probably sleep for a while, he's had a tough hour."
She then got to her feet and went to her seat to lie down.

"sleeping in those seats isn't a good idea, they're made for sitting not sleeping" rain said as he pulled down some padded stretchers, " these'll be much more comfortable"

 

[VaudevillianVeteran]

"...Thank you."Victoria said before going over and curling up on one, "I'll see you in a few hours. Sleep well."

Rain straps in Tony and put him next to Victoria, due too a lack of space and then lies down next to Tony "good night both of you, big things are afoot" Rain mused aloud
