REREAD THE RP
But who is Triscut? All I know is that your character is kicking him/her out of the lab. Is this how she's referring to my character? If so... he gave up on the door after realizing it was locked and tried the vents.
i got in before and was watching her
i will not be able to post for a while because i have finals to study could you take over my character untill im back?

The surprisingly imposing form of Jared walked up to find Sharrow suspiciously standing over the terrified man laying on his back.

"'Hell's goin on here?"

Entering his quarters as another patient exited his own a few doors down the corridor, Edward surveyed the rather spartan layout. There was a bed propped up against the east wall, a simple one with rounded shapes, probably to avoid it being used offensively or being utilized as an aid for suicide. There was also a simple toilet and a steel sink bolted to the walls, all of which which were not padded, contrary to the norm, he guessed that having read his profile they did not consider him a danger to himself and, at least partially, not to others.

standing against the north wall was also a rounded steel locker, which contained a few coat hangers which where closed around a steel rod hanging in the upper part, which was again securely fastened with bolts. All in all it was better than the quarters he had occupied at Carlton, at least in a practical sense.

Having ascertained that his quarters were acceptable, he exited again and walked at his normal pace towards the lobby, he was intending to ask the orderlies for his luggage, or what they would let him keep at any rate.

Ines was wandering around, talking to the occaisional potted plant, when she spotted a man who seemed interesting. She walked over to him and waved.

"Hi!" she said cheerfully to Edward. "I think I've seen you around before. Are you new here, too?"

Augh, a case of the short-post-itis.

Sharrow frowned. This creature had evidently thought he was some kind of insane, unstable maniac who was likely at any moment to lash out in directionless hatred and anger. He smiled.

"Hurt you? Of course not. Nothing could be more unchivalric. Please, allow me to help you stand"

He held out a hand to the fox-man on the floor

Edward turned to the cheerful voice emanating from behind him, and spotted one of the patients he had observed briefly in the mess hall earlier. She was of obvious Hispanic decent, with olive skin and brown hair, and from what he saw she seemed to enjoy more tight fitting garments. The scar on her knee caught his attention for a moment, before he discarded it as a simple wound inflicted with a regular cutting implement.

"Indeed I am, miss. The name's Edward Rodham, recently transferred here from Carlton. Pleased to meet you." He told her with a simple smile as a sign of politeness, but nothing else.

Sorry, I noticed my mistake and edited.

"Carlton? As in Massachusetts? Interesting." She paused, trying to think of what to say. "So, er, without sounding too rude, what're you here for? Me, I can talk to inanimate things."

The Nameless One didn't know what to make of what he saw in the "lab". So much so that he gave up on making any sense of it. The Nameless One crawled further through the vents until he saw a strange girl in a cell. He kicked the vent open, and jumped into the room.

"Hello," he said, "Umm... why do you look so upset?"

He shook his head slightly as she mentioned Massachusetts, "I am afraid not, it is rather Carlton located in Nottinghamshire, England."

She can talk to inanimate objects... Clearly it's a case of Delusional companions Syndrome, relatively harmless I suppose. "I do not mind you asking, but the answer may, or may not, be satisfactory to you. You see, I am contained within this facility, and previously the Carlton Asylum, for disorders stemming from post-traumatic-stress-disorder, most prevalently Anhedonia."

He removed his reading glasses as put them neatly in his front pocket before continuing. "It is also called 'Blunted Effect', it makes me incapable of emotional responses, or rather, I do not feel emotions, neither negative, nor positive. Anything resembling that is merely programmed responses, or politeness. So if you might later wonder, I do not seem cold, I am, quite literally, cold as a person."

"Oh..." Ines said. "I'm sorry. Not that I need to be sorry- er, you know what I mean."

Man, she thought, I wouldn't last two seconds without feeling.

Off for the night.

"I think I do, but your emotion is lost on me. 18 years of treatment with no improvement leads to the logical conclusion that there will be no improvement. But with no emotional responses to speak of, it is not like I miss it, or feel 'sad' about it. So any pity is unnecessary." He stated clearly. A conversation was a conversation, he didn't find himself curious about this Ines. But on the other hand, he found value in information...

Kim jumped a good two feet in the air at the sudden intrusion, nearly flinging her lit welding torch at the intruder in the process. One of her larger machines cuaght her before she hit the ground and set her on its shoulder, a good ten feet above the ground (the lab having a ceiling a good 25 meters up).

Wiggling into the seat built into the mechanical monstrosities shoulder and breathing deeply to calm herself, she addressed the newcommer, "Uuhhh..."

She gulped, well, at least I tried, she thought, before sighing.

What? Oh, sorry.

EDIT time!

"My dear fox" said Sharrow, "I would not dream of hurting such a one of yourself. Surely in this place of borders and outcasts, I would know the need to draw in the stragglers and welcome all to the heart of the flock?"

"Umm?" The Nameless One repeated, "Hello?"

The Nameless One's mind finally assigned a role for the jumpy girl. He dropped to his knees and bowed before her.

"Forgive my intrusion," he said, "I had no idea you were here Lady of Pain. Umm... How are you? Is there anything I can do for you?"

The Nameless One looked around. He saw large gear-boxes and whirring lights clinging to the walls of the room, and on a table, he saw bloodless arms and legs... they were very pale. All of it seemed so strange, so foreign to him, or at least until his madness supplied a fantastical role for it all.

"I see you've been busy," The Nameless One said, indicating the hacked off limbs on the table.
