Kim blinked in confusion, completely lost to what was being said, "... Lady... Of... Pain? Who on earth is the lady of pain?!"

One of her robots scooped up The Nameless One and brought him up to Kim's eye level, "Could please explain what the hell your talking about?"

"You are the Lady of Pain," The Nameless One said, "You rule over the city of Sigil, maintain its balance. You are easily more powerful than the gods. And..." The Nameless One nodded at the table with bloodless limbs on it, "You are swift to punish those who would seek to upset the balance. I did not mean to intrude. My apologies."

 

[Emperor Inferno]

His question having been completely ignored, Jared shrugged it off, assuming both parties were too distracted to even notice him, and continued on his way toward the lab as Sharrow helped up the rather unique looking individual.

Upon arrival outside the lab, Jared heard talk of "the Lady of Pain." His interest now thoroughly piqued, he announced his arrival.

"Anything wrong here?"

The moral of the first part of this post is, pay attention and respond when other charcters interact with yours.

Ines nodded in understanding. "I understand. I'll try not to bug you about it. If you can still feel bugged." She stood there for a moment, thinking of what to say. "I don't know what to talk about. I guess I'll just go get something to drink. Want anything?"

Kim's left eye twitched a bit at the new intrusion into her private space, and gave Jared a bit of an irate look, "Quite a lot, people seem to forget that the purpose to locking a door is keeping people out because you want privacy. Something that this fellow," she motioned towards Morgan, "doesn't get."

"I offer you my sincerest apologies, Lady of Pain." The Nameless One said with a combination of genuine reproach and abject terror, "I honestly thought it was locked to keep someone inside... I was trying to help..."

The Nameless One looked into the Lady of Pain's eyes, trying to read them.

Name: Dr. Roland Hunter

Gender: Male

Physical Description: 6'4", 55 years of age, wears a labcoat modified into a Napoleanic British marine coat (redcoat's red coat) wears a bow tie and bowler hat with a Masquerade mask to hide his scarred face. his left hand is infused with a system of pipes that his skin has attempted (without succes) to heal overleaving a mess of scar tissue. this bizare self mutilation has caused the doctors to force him to wear gloves at all times to avoid creeping them out.

Emotional and Mental disposition: necromania, osession with alchemy, delsuion, paranoia, vague schizofrenia, a bizare fixation with the colonial erra and minor obsessive mania.

Reason for being committed and history: moved from whitechappel insane asylum. Was a doctor there for a while, but became an inmate after modifying his left hand and trying to create a "frankenstine's monster" from dead inmates. believes that he has "improved" his left arm and given himself unusual abilities,but is yet to display said abillities ut says that he will do so "when the time is right".
Side Notes: has the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft within his cell and has a gas mask hanging on the wall("just in case") and spends most of his time in the library (he did see the scene involving Ziva and The Nameless One, but chose to ignore it).the use of his hand is limited thanks to the surgery, but basically serves as a mobile lab for his alchemical experiments, though it can hit rather hard too.

Suddenly, the door opened and in walked a masked man in what was probably once a white labcoat, now died red and covered in gold filgree, tossing an orange in the air and catching it. the odd man tossed the orange over to sharrow, advising him to eat more citrus, burst in to kim's lab and started rummaging through the chest cavity of a half assembled robot, eventually producing a plaid thermos. he turned to face the group, a smile on his lips. "anyone want some coffee?" he said.

"I have a small errand to fulfil in the lobby, and since it is in the same direction I will accompany you. Provided a brief stop on your way is permitted." Edward told her and waited for the reply, hearing some noise echo down the relatively empty corridors, but logically dismissed it as just another patient.

 

[Emperor Inferno]

"You want me to take care of him for you?" Jared asked. "I can fight. I'm really tough. In fact, unfortunately, I seem to be incapable of dying."

 

[SteakHeart]

"Of course," Ines said with a smile. She began to walk in the direction of the lobby. "Orange juice okay? That's mostly what I saw when I glanced by. No booze, sadly. Probably makes inmates go nuts, so I guess that's a good thing."

She heard some noise from down the hallway, and the word 'coffee.' She didn't like coffee, though. Coffees, iced ones especially, were always hitting on her in her mind.

Roland pulled a newspaper out of the recceses of his coat and poured himself a cup of coffee. he turned around to Kim, the Amazing Bionic Woman, "I see your robots have been coming along nicely" he chirruped.

Sharrow stared into space for a while, then blinked, looked surprised and then blushed with embarrassed.

"I'm terribly sorry" he said to the fox creature, "I must have become disconnected for a moment there. Forgive, em, but what did you just say? I seem to have forgotten the last few seconds altogether"

Sharrow frowned in puzzlement, "You don't seem odd to me, my friend. And of course, I am a friend to all." He paused, swayed slightly, and said, "And now I am hungry. To the cafeteria!"

Kim paused, frowning at the first intruder's obvious terror, of her no less! The idea was nearly enough to make her laugh, when she realized why that probably was, her machines, but she had absolutely no idea why.

Sighing, she mentally told the robot, through the newly installed wireless mental control interface, to set the poor man back down to the ground.

"Sorry to frighten you," she started, jumping down to the ground, using a bit of anti-gravity technology in her prosthetic leg to cushion her fall, "I'll get you something from the cafe as a way of saying sorry."

roland took another sip of his coffee. this was more interesting than the time H.P. Lovecraft's ghost had told him the meaning of life.
