I agree with people saying Ant-Man and Wasp. They were founding members in the comics after all. I guess they will be in Avengers 3 after the Ant-Man movie, if Wasp is even going to be included in it. Vision is also a character I like but he needs a lot of set up with Ant-Man and Ultron. Maybe introduce Ultron in Ant-Man and have him come back with Vision in a Avengers movie? Who knows.

Black Panther is a really cool character that I'd also like to see, there were rumours that a movie was being discussed for after Avengers 2 so we'll have to wait and see.

Ms Marvel would be good as to have another woman on the team, but her origins are closely tied to Captain Marvel and the Kree so you'd probably either need to make a solo movie or change her story.

Finally I really like the idea MovieBob had in one of his Intermissions that since they can't use Spider-Man, they should have Spider-Woman. She is completely unrelated to Spidey so the rights weren't given to Sony. It would certainly allow them to poke some fun at the fact that Spider-Man is absent.

Which character would you most like to see join the team in the next Avengers movie? Personaly I would love to see Doctor Strange. I know they have Thor but the team need a little more magic. Plus the Doc redefines the term baddass.
I would like Dr. Strange to be in, but it would definitely be a challenge to not make him to powerful and getting the right actor for the job. I would also like to see a good Black Panther and Ms. Marvel as new Avengers if they are done well and have the right actors for the job.

Agreed.

Also, Roland Deschain needs to join the Avengers.

Marvel handled comic story tie ins and that's CLOSE ENOUGH!

I mean, if the average audience has no idea what the character is about, it wouldn't work very well.
I beg to differ....

Neither me nor anyone I know had any clue who the fuck Hawkeye was yet we still enjoyed the film.

Also, Daredevil has a film ... just not a very good one.
Pretty sure Marvel managed to get the rights to Daredevil back from Fox, so we might get a good one soon.

As much as I want to see him in something worth mentioning I think throwing deadpool in there would make it cross the line from over the top fun to flatout goofy. Also nobody outside of internet culture knows who the hell he is.

I don't think spiderman is as impossible as some of you seem to think it is. Unlikely maybe, but Disney was able to buy fucking star wars so I don't doubt that they could get spiderman in a movie if they really wanted to.

War Machine would be good.

I can't remember if they've been used in the X-Men films yet but I'd love to see Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch.

I'd really like to see how they handled Silverclaw (an orphan of a human man and a volcano goddess who is sponsored by human Jarvis and considers him an uncle) now that Jarvis is a sentient computer.

It would be great if Disney bought back spiderman so Fox would stop ruining his movies, especially with their relatively hands-off management style. Hell, it'd would be wise for Disney to buy back Spiderman due to the fact that Marvel probably wouldn't like one of its top-tier superheroes associated with a bunch of bad movies. Everyone knows what Batman's cinematic reputation was after Batman & Robin: it left quite the bad taste in moviegoers' mouths and tainted his reputation for nearly a decade, likely being the reason why Batman Begins was merely a modest success at best. I'm pretty sure Disney and Marvel don't want the same to happen to our friendly neighborhood superhero spidey.

Unrelated thing: love the avatar, man. Where'd you get it?

Knowing the history of classic avengers (and keeping in mind who I know they legally can't use) there's the Vision, he'd be an interesting hero who's kind we've not seen in movies yet.
I'm not sure if they should use Scarlet Witch or Quick Silver if they're not allowed to mention that they're "Mutants".
I wanna see them pull off Ms. Marvel!
Wasp and Giantman/Goliath/Yellow Jacket/whatever he's calling himself now.

And on the subject of Marvel Movies in general, I wanna see them tackle the Inhumans!
Even if they found a loophole that let them put Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver on the Avengers 2, they would get unnecessary trouble with Fox at cost of much money out of law suits, so I guess they won't do that even if they could.
I would like to see Ant-Man and Ms Marvel in there too, the Ant Man movie is on the making and there's a small chance that he may appear before in Avengers 2, no word on Ms Marvel though.
I would also like to see She-Hulk, maybe if they were willing to make Hulk 2 they could set her up, intruducing the character, then at mid film something bad happens to her and she has to get a transfusion from Bruce Banner and the after credits scene could be her transforming in She-Hulk, but since Hulk 2 is not happening any time soon I guess not.

And 3d-Man, just for the laughs: http://www.comicvine.com/3-d-man-garrett-jr/29-3322/

Hank Pym...I know we already have two super scientists but neither of them is a mad scientist. Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellowjacket, I don't care which but we need Hank and Janet.

Of course an appearance by Isaiah Bradley would be cool, but they need tp save that for a Cap film.

Maybe Vision as my third choice?
They are making an Ant Man movie you know.

OT: I'd say Ant Man too. But they're making a movie, so yay.

Have you two seen the Director's Cut? It's a much better movie than the theatrical cut and deserves a sequel from Marvel. The original Daredevil also did very well at the box office, it was Electra that killed the franchise in the eyes of Fox.

mmmm im not a huge fan of many marvel characters... besides Thor. (not marvel bashing - marvel makes the best comic book movies)

doesnt matter who they add - as long as the movie is still epic ill be happy.

if they added batman i would be ecstatic and confused.

Spider-man, but of course that won't happen. It was so frustrating seeing the Amazing Spider-man come out because I wanted it to fail, not because I like Raimi's movies better (which I do, the first two anyway), but because what was really at stake was whether or not Sony would lose interest in the rights. Yet people where completely ignorant of the fact and thought went to go see it expecting to see a tie-in with the Avengers, inadvertently preventing such a thing from happening in the foreseeable future.

I'd say Spiderman, but chances of that are extremely minimal so I'm going with Doctor Strange.

Actually I'm kinda confused as to why they didn't use War-Machine in the first Avengers movie, since at the end of Iron-Man 2 they had implied that he was the one joining the Avengers not Tony.

I've read very few comics, but from what I've heard, read or seen, I'd like to see Spiderman or Deadpool. Though Spiderman is with another studio, who has the rights to Deadpool?

Bucky Barnes would be a good choice, since they're already tying him in (last I heard) to the next Captain America film - Winter Soldier, after all. I always wanted to see The Wasp as well, Janet van Dyne would provide extra eye candy (of course) while also being another strong positive female character, which the team does need really. I suppose it'd then be interesting to see Ant Man, Hank Pym, turn up, although I'm wondering if the producers and writers would boter to explore the idea of a protagonist in a film who's actually a massive dick to everyone, his own wife included, when he's not out beating the bad guys (note how I used Janet's maiden name when I mentioned her?).

The first set of films was all science based, but from what we already know and from press releases Phase Two of the MCU is going to be supernatural based, so Doctor Strange makes the best bet for a new film. I think he'd be good to appear in TV though rather than a movie, but that would depend on the success of the SHIELD series, which to be fair is a Joss Whedon show and is going to have Phil Coulson appearing, so will probably be pretty damn awesome...

Actually, The Runaways. I know they were talking about doing a Runaways film a while ago, though I'm not certain what the status is of that right now, but given the Disney-ownership of Marvel it would make sense. They could make a TV series instead that ties in to the films, PROVIDED it was a more serious drama-type thing and actually good (I would be really ashamed and hateful of Disney if they did anything with it like their current kids TV crop), and introduce the characters to a younger audience while also retianing them for future appearances in the films or in SHIELD. Adding to that, there could always be a few hints dropped in to the films, like maybe have Tony Stark reading a news article about a bunch of 'mutant' kids wreaking havoc at La Brea, or have someone interrupt Nick Fury when he's on the phone to an agent about the 'Pride problem'...

ME.

Nah, I'll be seeing you sooner than that, most likely.

Avengers needs Ant-Man, Wasp, Quicksilver, and Black Panther!
