i've been through Bioshock (1, haven't got 2) without my health ever being depleted to zero and having to use one of those chambers.
i've also done Final Fantasy: Crisis Core, without ever dying! i was quite proud of that... well, obviously, you have to die at the end of the game being Zack and all, but i managed to survive against the invincible soldiers for 3 minutes! i was on normal mode to be honest, but i think i still did pretty well considering.
Ape escape i've also completed without ever using a continue (every single ape escape game so far)... but i have had to use t-shirts... do they count?

i'm not going to say Resi 4, even though i have, because they were both on second run-through with super-duper awesome weapons. which is kind of like saying "i fell out of a tree without getting hurt... encased in Mattresses". granted, maybe i deserve a little bit for getting a 100% accuracy :D (fire one shot with a weapon, make sure it hits, then infinite rocket launcher for rest of stage... you'll be suprised at how frustrating that 1 shot can be to get >.>)

Every time I play Left4Dead I mock it's premise.

Seriously?

Four random schmoes against a legion of undead, constantly being bit and ravaged?

I declare shenanigans!

They'd rip you into tiny bite-sized pieces or infect you in seconds. It'd be a Zombie gang rape!

I can beat "ocarina of time" without dying easily, the real challenge of the game always came from the puzzles anyway.

All the FF's and Pokemon not on first try though.

But when you know whatto expect after the first playthrough then it gets easy.

I also never died in either Assassin's Creed during my second playthrough of those.
The only reason I ever died was accidentally jumping off buildings...
I made it through my entire second playthrough without falling to my death. I was mighty cautious. :)
Well the game itself is taking place in a simulation. It's not the matrix or anything, if Ezio or Altair die, Desmond takes it as a false memory and he can just jump back into the simulation.
I still consider de-synchronizing as a death though.

I've completed Prince of Persia 2008 without dying. =D
And Jak and Daxter.
It's also impossible to not die once during CoD4 on any difficulty during the mission "Aftermath".

well a game would be so much simple for the bad guy if a bad guy got all his minions and had them all attack at the same time instead of putting them is equaly distancest thoughout the level, also attacking himself

for example call of duty if all the natzis/terrorist/other americans attacked you all at once it would be game over

on topic- i dont think ive every completed a game were i havent died .........im surprised

Played marvel ultimate alliance last weekend and beat that on Heroic with a TKO. Might of had one or two guys knocked out at some points.

There's plenty of games where I have never died. Most games are just incredibly easy, and if I do die it's because of some one hit kill move or something the boss has, that I have to find a workaround for, not because the game was difficult.

Also, does Zelda count if you get resurrected by fairies?

I'd like to point out too that most JRPG's you can just grind and guarantee that you won't die. So they're not the best examples of difficult games.

I've beaten a ton of games without dying once on the first playthrough. Usually just on Normal mode, but it still counts. It's really not that hard with current generation games if you grew up playing the stuff that kills you constantly like Castlevania III.

I'd love to see a no-death, first time playthrough of a game like that though. lol

That's like saying the Prince of Persia's continuous deaths are due to him having an atrocious memory. -Had to do it.
-We never actually die in games, we merely explore other possible realities. Kind of like Sliders. If you really want to get technical, time just resets so that we can survive and continue. Remember: your character doesn't know that they died, only you do. Just keep that to yourself.

Never died in Mass Effect 2
Shepard was a god on the battlefield, waltzing through the line of fire with tech armor up, and when it went downj all enemies where thrown to the ground and shot up by my Carnifex.

I completed the entire Xenosaga series without dying on my first run through, made me feel pretty awesome. JRPGs are generally pretty easy to go through without dying if you make sure to keep your characters up to date. Last time I remember dying in a JRPG is in Persona 3 when the main character got one shot by one of the light element instant kill moves.
