I think he posted a meme to describe what just happened to his servers as well, but I can't load it on this network.

oh yes..I think just how badly the demand for more isometric games has been underestimated is nothing short of criminal.
look at the kickstarter for wasteland 2.....1,000,000 and skyrocketing still after only a couple of days. then imagine the unprepared servers, subject to the wrath of even HALF the people who love the genre enough to pay the devs to make it...XD those poor servers.

My theory is that they can't update because everyone's on the site. But they couldn't leave the things embedded because it's not hard to view the page source.

Clearly the smart plan would be to have another page set up on a different server to redirect traffic.
