That does not sound like a fun time to me.
Challenge: Tell me one time that you were motivated by something unrelated to pain.
I was motivated to go to college for pre-med because I want to be an oncologist. I did an internship for at a hospital during high school and thought that it was really interesting. No pain involved! :D
Why did you do the internship?

Banned if you don't know that I can trace your past back into a choice that was caused by pain.
I did it because I thought that I might want to go bio or pre-med, and that particular internship was:

1. Available
2. Seemed like a cool way to skip class with no repercussions because it was all organized by the school

Why did you want to skip class?

Banned because I'm not going to stop until pain was caused.

Trust me, this will all reciprocate upon itself.

I didn't want to skip class. But the idea of an internship appealed to me, so I looked into some. It just so happened that the way the school worked out internships was that they happened during school hours, so if I got one, I would more or less have to skip class in order to get to the hospital. I would have gone for an internship even if I didn't have to skip class to do it.

Because I was good at biology, and medicine seemed like something that might be fun.

Darling, if you're trying to bring me down, it won't work. I am a happy person. Sure I've got things I worry about. Sure there are some things that I was motivated to do because of some kind of pain. But that's not up for debate. My choice to go into pre-med had nothing to do with a painful experience. It was all due to positive reinforcement.

Now, studying really hard for calculus on the other hand?

Nikki, you seem so depressed and gloomy. I wish I could give you hug for real. I really do.
