But are you aware that providing long periods of pure suffering makes people used to the suffering so the suffering doesn't matter anymore?
And did you know that showing them a little "kindness" from time to time and giving them periods with not so extreme suffering so they remember what it's like to not suffer actually increases the value of the suffering in the long term?
