Hey, it makes things a little less obnoxious.

Let's say that I already saw said video. Then I return to this thread and it's still there, taking up space. Looking messy and non-uniform. Same with pictures. They make things look non-uniform, and I don't want them crowding my screen up with crap that, after viewing, is nothing more than extra scroll-time if I so choose to scroll up and down the page.

However, having excessive pictures of unnecessarily large size should also be put in spoilers.

The above image takes up so much space that it detracts from actual banning that is going on and crowds the screen.

Besides, Lord Paradox wills it. Do you not respect the wishes of the Game Master?

He places his sgian-dubh on the end table in the hall out of respect for Lady Fallingstar. He approaches the main room, Lady Fallingstar sitting on a chair in front of a lit fireplace.

Eumersian walks forward, towards Lady Fallingstar, adopting a semi-serious innocent expression. He stops about three-to-four feet away from her, enjoying the friendly heat of the fire. Eumersian locks eyes with Lady Fallingstar and says, formally:

"Good evening m'lady. Shall we have some wine and converse of the days events?"
