On the subject of funny stuff I didn't get: under some circumstances a drunk Tali will mumble "It just smells like sweat! Why would anybody ask me that?"
It comes from a thread where apart from postulating what Tali's vagina would smell/taste like; Biowares creepy fans also tried to figure out things like: what Tali's sweat would smell like.

Also as far as OT. Probably the toothbrush was the best. They're sitting there trying to figure out a way to break in. And in the background she turns on the toothbrush with this determined look on her face. Too many good moments to count though, Bioware really out did themselves with this one.

Dammit! Watching all these (vids) has me wanting to dust off my copy of ME3 and hit the DLC store.

The dates and romance specific dialogue. I don't care WHO your LI was, it was washed out far too often in the main game, and I was very happy to see that reversed.

Other than that, I loved the differences between the party themes. Both were incredible, but led in different directions- and I loved Zaeed's interactions in both cases, definitely a fitting goodbye.

(Sad that taking Javik to the casino doesn't result in an outfit change though, and Shepard apparently agreed with me!)

:EDIT: No, wait. Someone mentioned the Thane memorial. I think that might have won it for me.

James Vega pull-ups. Possibly the biggest developer troll since Metal Gear Solid 2.

For those who haven't seen it, you have a pull-up bar at the apartment and James tells you his record is 182 and invites you to beat it. What follows is 10 minutes of continuous Paragon and Renegade interrupts and watching Shepard painstakingly complete each of those 183 pull-ups.

Well, there is the Blasto filming session with Javik in tow. That was just too much fun!

For slightly different reasons, trying to best Vega's record on the overhead bar. I mean, I actually sat there and pressed the renegade and paragon triggers for a combined total of 183 times? I mean, why? There wasn't even an achievement to be had!

On an other note, I saw a still (but didn't watch the video) of a scene which appeared to be Jacob and Vega in a situp contest with what looked like Kasumi sitting on Vega's back. I can't picture when this might have been, as I had both Vega and Jacob (but no Kasumi) at my party and made sure I went through all the available options during the party. Would hate to have missed something.

Captcha: be serious now

Oh, but I am beings serious....

Tali Singing.

That part actually fell flat for me. Tali's character has flip flopped between outgoing, adventurous, yet in-over-her-head recklessness to calm, determined and self aware, to the above extreme case of nerd girl fantasy. I thought Bioware had learned their lesson about putting musical numbers in their games after Leliana. No, Mordin does not count, he's just humming without a background orchestra.

Well, all the good ones are taken already, so Ill go for something on a gameplay front, and I like the fact they added the M7 Lancer Assault Rifle. For those that dont know, its a assault rifle that for all intended purposes is the same as the M8 (the AR you get at the beginning) but without the bullshit of thermal clips, basically being the assault rifle from the first ME game. Its also one of the best Assault Rifles in ME3, specially if you fully upgrade it to level 10.

Seriously Bioware, I dont know what the fuck is wrong with you guys, but in the next game, ALL the guns better be like this.

BTW, Shepard coming to the realization about his line, "I should go" is funny as fuck.

....Cannot unsee.....Cannot unsee! WHY WOULD ANYONE ASK THIS?!

There is no Gif or Jpeg that can appropriately show off my distaste and disgust right now...There just isn't.

Still, nice to see that ME3 will be sent off without pissing on it's fanbase for the most part. There's at least that, right? I mean I was going to come in here, and piss all over the DLC, but really, compared to the malignant tumor that is almost everything else in the game, this seems to actually be rather refreshing. A little fan service never hurt anyone, consistent tone be damned.
Eh, just an FYI... Thundertactics (the guy who posted the sweat thread on BW forums) was trolling. I should know, I was there.

I REALLY didn't like that part. It was so cringeworthy and it literally felt like the writer was telling me "Look how cute she is, don't you love her so much?" Though to be fair to the voice actress (who I think is fantastic) she did a damn good job considering she isn't a singer.

The funny part to me? If they wanted a musical number, they could have had Kasumi do it. Her voice actress is an actual singer (and a decent one at that) which could have been good if they had her do it as part of the party or something.
OT: My favorite line has to be from Jack to Miranda: "Wow, you know you're not so bad yourself. And you have great tits."

Oh, I got the joke, I meant that I didn't see it in my version of the game. Laughed like mad when I saw it. And yeah, Tali's musical was one of a few things that kinda fell flat (didn't get it in my game either) along with the Blasto movie, which wasn't as well done as it could have been. But then, there's the space-chess game, Joker mocking Cerberus' terrible track record with evil plots, everything Brooks says pre-betrayal. Also, the scenes with your LI, Thane's memorial, Anderson's notes, etc. are really well done too. And it has what I would put forward as the best boss fight ever in a Bioware game.

I was smiling the entire time I was playing this DLC. The scene in the vault, the combat dialogue, the party (also, nice to know that someone agrees with me that Mark Meer kicks ass in this DLC), the ship infiltration... I mean, I thought this was amazing all around. Best DLC I've ever played.

It's been a good ride.

Putting aside all the fan service and in jokes, that last moment of introspection with this song just got me.

I find it hard to pick any one moment, since I loved the whole thing.

So, I'm going to cheat a bit and post this:

One of the best parts of the "I should go" scene, is if you have Javik in your party and take the Regengade option during the betrayal reveal.
There are at least 4 airlock jokes from Javik that I've seen in Citadel, but that one is my favorite.

The Tali singing part... left a lot to be desired. It was a bit too much for me. I think I actually cracked a tooth from cringing so hard. Although the final "farewell" at the end of the DLC mostly much made up for it. It's a fantastic DLC if you're just looking for some campy fun with your favorite characters(and were sorely missing interactions with certain ones because they were barely in the game/didn't get them until the game was pretty much over).

Citadel had its ups and downs, but it was mostly fun stuff. It was like "Mass Effect... as written by Joss Whedon". In contrast to the lack of content(and quality)that was in Omega, this one did feel like the price was a bit more justified. I really wish Pinnacle Station 2.0 had more challenges to it other than "get easy achievements, unlock everything in a day... never play it again on this playthrough" though.

Also, Shifty Cow... I lol'd.

I always felt like the Bioware boiler plate "It's teh end of da world, WE STOP!" plot was kind of out of place in Mass Effect, which seems to thrive on episodic character interactions.

It's the reason that the second game is both better than the first, but totally irrelevant to the overarching plot.

I loved this DLC. There were some moments when the jokes got a bit too forced and unfunny, but overall it was great. The last scene on the docks was horrid, it almost broke my heart when LI says 'It's been a good ride' and they all walk off and Shepard chokes back a sob and says 'The best' NOOOO :'(

I expressed that sentiment on another thread. Exactly, it's the Joss Whedon episode if anything. Also I laughed more at the gambling station when one of the Varren was literally named "Something Clever".

Did anyone else get the hidden scene where you catch Kasumi attempting to rob the casino. After the storyline you have to spot a "suspicious looking device" in the casino to launch the scene.

i loved everything, but if i had to pick the best parts, it would be the one liners. all of them (the ones that really spring to mind are t'suza v traynor, joker being a badass during the coup, the battle lines during the vault assault, space hamster... damn, i could go on for days

also...

i actually sat through that. i thought to myself "oh, i'll just do 20 pull-ups then call it day. i dont have the patience to sit through 183". i then realized that i couldn't stop...
