Ahh lucid dreams. Dreams where you know you are dreaming, but aren't awake. You can do pretty much anything you want. I've always wanted to get one, and I've done all the things that help you get a lucid dream (short of the machine thing..) and still never got one! Drinking a jar of pickle juice before bed gives you some...interesting dreams.

I had a dream one time where I was on one of the worlds that SG1 was visiting and the team got captured except for Daniel Jackson, so it was just me and him *sigh*. Then I realised it was just a dream and I started to fly.

I have a lot of lucid dreams, almost everytime I dream, if I am lucky enough to dream.

I had a Halo dream, I got a multi-killionaire on Avalanche, with double Flags as my weapon.
Yeah, it was pretty cool....

Hmm... my most useful dreams were where I dreamt the solutions to some of the puzzles in the Myst series of games. May not have been the coolest but certainly the most USEFUL.

As for awesome dreams, I'd have to say that one where I was in some sorta crazy Romeo & Juliet meets The Godfather meets Prince of Persia meets National Treasure story. It was made of win though.

I think I had a dream I could manipulate, once upon a time. I was driving my car to the other side of the country for some reason, when I realised I was in a dream. I then stopped my car, got out, and flew to the bottom of the ocean with The Beatles' Octopus's Garden in the background. I salsa danced with Cthulu.

Best. Dream. Ever.

Most memorable dream I ever had is a rather odd one.

It's like, I was in some sort of bizarre alternate dimension or plane of existence where everything was non euclidean and sort of like gobs of energy traveling down strings. It's not just what I saw either, I remember having physical sense reactions that were similar to normal ones yet unlike anything you'd encounter in real life.

I know that just sounds all vague and shit, but that's just because I literally cannot describe it properly. Language, or at least the English language, does not have words to articulate what I experienced.

umm i had a dream that i was immensely magical and just went around saving cats from trees. i dont remember most of the cats i saved, but i remember one of them involved magically freezing the tree and the cat and then thawing the cat out with a fireball, and somehow the cat survived. Also keep in mind that all of this was EXTREMELY epic.

The only dreams I have(or at least remember) are nightmares. The best one I ever had involved me killing a man after he had brutaly slaughtered every person I know.
See, because normally I don't get them back.

Probably my best dream involved me being some sort of Egyptian Pharaoh, or some sort of Persian king. I was making sweet love with these two fine nicely tanned exotic women. When I delivered my package, I was worried it was all done. It wasn't however, for one of these women was adept at revitalising the blood flow with loving and gentle motions with her hands and tongue, and I was soon up and about again. That dream was sweet.

I remember when I was quite young, say around 10 years, I managed to fly in my dream. It wasn't exactly a lucid dream I think, but I was kind off in control and that was sweet too.

Another one turned from the beginnings of a nightmare, into an exciting adventure. At first, me, my mother and brother were being chased by some sort of monster. Fortunately, it wasn't very fast, yet I knew that if it would catch onto me, I would be mince meat. We couldn't hide however, for we were at some sort of oil rig, with bridges and pipes everywhere, it was endlessly big and high I think, yet we could only move about in a limited space. I told my bro and mum to hide, and went out alone to make sure the monster only came at me. I prepared a trap for it, so it would fall into the endless depths of the abyss below us. My trap sprung, and we were safe for the moment. Yet I knew that it would return...

I had a dream where I threw a gigantic Norse party in the middle of a huge tundra, underneath massive fur tents. Everyone was paying their respects to me, and we were having a pretty swell Viking time drinking grog/mead/whatever and eating huge legs of animals with our hands.

Also, nobody seemed to know my real name - everyone was referring to me as "Judas, King of Winter". Seems really f'ing surreal, right, but my nickname from junior high that has stuck to this day was Judas, so it's merely weird.

YES! Yes I've had.

I can still remember it, even though I was about 10 at the time.
I was being chased by a werewolf, and when I locked myself in my room I reminded myself that, 'hey, this is MY dream', and I totally kicked the crap out of the werewolf. Sweet.

I've had my share of awesome dreams, but I'll say one of the best was a horror dream.

Yes, a horror dream.

Now, the dream started as an old movie and from third-person view. You know, that kind of one which all Ring movies have, flickering picture, gray-scale and so on. I was probably around 10 years old at that dream, walking through a school yard, which felt ominously familiar. Well, I stumble and fall down. I try to get up, but I couldn't pull myself up. Something was keeping me down. I glanced at my hands, which were covered in dark, wet leaves and pulled one of them out of the leaves. It was covered in ants, swarming around it like black TIE-fighters.

And I screamed, but nothing was heard.

I woke up, wipe the sweat off my forehead and look at the clock. I get up, put my clothes on and open the window, only to see the whole city in ruins, with black orbs floating at the sky. And I thought "Shit, the dream is still going on.", finally waking up.

Thinking it afterward, it was pretty awesome.

I was being chased by a llama round a castle. Screaming, I managed to get behind the llama, and it was I chasing it, laughing.

I'm not a deep person.

One of my dreams, carried over from night to night untill it was done, it was awesome, it was like a battle royal full of aliens, elfs, orcs and a few other creatures that i think i made up, we had castles as bases and like, it was also an epic game of capture the flag, with swords.... and guns... all me and my friends were against all these weird people, we started to gain enemys and friends, depending on how i acted to them, we had spys in their bases when we saved someone, like it was awesome, it went for like 5 nioghts untill i was done....
