The best game and worst game you have played?

Well, seeing as i've got nothing to do as usual.
Im wondering what is your favorite game, and what is your most hated game, and why?

Anyway, my favorite game.. Tough choice these days, its between Fallout 2, Arcanum and Diablo 2. Ill edit if I make up my mind. The reason I love those games is just because of the freedom in Fallout 2 and arcanum, and the endless builds at end game in Diablo 2.

My most hated game. This is a hard question because I like all games. For me it'd actually have to be Psychonauts. Im probably going to attract alot of hate with this, but it just didnt feel like that good of a game to me, in any way, I dont really get what all the hub-ub with it is.

I'd have to say Half life 2 has been my favorite game for a very long time. Battlefield 2, Ace Combat 5, and Final Fantasy X gets an honorable mention

Never really had any game that I 'hated', but a game that I didn't enjoy playing very much was Final Fantasy 8. Something about it kept me going, but I didn't really enjoy the game too much

Currently...I'd Say Star Trek Online is my favourite game, Although im reaching endgame, And i think the shine may start wearing off soon...

I'd have to say Ogre Battle 64 is still one of my favorites. This may just be because no one else I knew had played it and therefor couldn't over-hype it like they did LoZ:OoT.

I can't really say I hate a game because all the ones I didn't like i quit playing long before they could make any lasting impression.

Its very good fun, Although it does have its flaws. I have a feeling it will be very good in a couple months, It just needs some time...(i hope)

Its lasting me out till the Star Wars MMO anyway.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction has to be my all time favorite. It doesnt have the deepest story or characters but it provides endless amount of fun and near infinite replayability.

Honorable mentions: Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Shadow of Colossus, Ace Combat 5, Call of Duty 2

Worst: Halo 3. no kidding, its absolute shit imo

Best? Fallout 3. I've played it more than any other game by far. It's just incredible, and definitely my favourite game.

Worst? Maybe Quake 3. I've played it with my friends a few times and it's just terrible. The pacing is all wrong, the weapons all feel weak and it's impossible to kill anything because everyone moves too damn fast. How my friends get those railgun headshots I'll never know.

 

[Heart of Darkness]

To me, the best game I played was Pikmin 2. Perfect atmosphere, perfect pacing, and great balance made this game an instant favorite for me. Coming up in a close two-way tie for second are Final Fantasy IV and Mother 3.

Worst game? Any number of crappy independent titles and flash games. Trite shovelware for the consoles. The usual. I'd list them, but (a) I'd rather not advertise some of them, (b) the names escape me, and/or (c) I don't want to look like an idiot for getting them in the first place. I usually tend to like the rest of the games I play, or at least go "so I'm not a fan of this. I don't hate it, it's just not fun." Very few games have actually made me actively hate them.

My favourite is Melee since I managed to get addicted to it for 7 years straight because of it's great game play and replay value.

My worst game is Brawl since it is the perfect example of covering up bland game play with extra features. Removed everything that made it interesting and added in some fucking stupid things like random tripping.

Okami is the best game that I have ever played.

Darwinia is the worst (in my opinion, I hasten to add), but I generally tend to avoid bad games.

Best Game thats tough, the most fun i ever had with a game was Super Smash Bros.

Greatest sleepover of my life.

Worst game in recent history, blacksite area 51: Incredibly unremarkable and forgetable.

Favorite: Fire Emblem Path of Radiance (i like all the FE games, but this one is definitely my favorite)

Most hated: any Final Fantasy (yeah, i know that this games series has millions of fans world-wide, but i never understood why, i certainly don't like it )

My personal favourite games are: Psychonauts, Banjo Kazooie, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 4, Resident Evil 4 and Persona 4 (a new favourite of mine is Heavy rain) and Castlevania: Symphony of the night

Games I hated: Devil May cry 4, Haze, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and pretty much any Simpsons game.

Worst: Probably Megarace 3: Nanotech Disaster, or whatever the hell it was called. God, that game sucked!

Hm... always hard to pick something.. played SO MUCH (REALLY REALLY REALLY MUCH)

Best: Maybe "Vampire: Bloodlines"

Worst: probably some stupid Flashgame or something... but lets say only fullpriced games count hm. Can't really remember one. I think i forget the bad ones very fast. Thanks brain.

Favourite would be Fallout 3, racked up hundreds of hours over several playthroughs.

The worst game I've played would be Action Man: ATOM which I had a go on at work, which had handling similar to sliding a cereal box across an ice rink.
Worst game I've had the misfortune to own was Rogue Warrior, which was awful in whole new ways and lasted maybe 15 minutes before MW2 went back in the disc tray and it went on the "go swap this for something good" pile.
