I got the Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition for $20. I know that's not as great a deal compared to other people got here. But for the original Legend of Zelda, the craptacular sequel, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask, I'd say that's a damn good deal!

Prey. For three dollars.

Three.

Try and find me a better deal than that.
Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics for $20

Gotta love Steam.

Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics... Morrowind GOTY edition (ie. Bloodmoon and tribunal included) and Prey. £10 total. (About $15 at the time, I think.)

I managed to find Call of Duty: World at War in working condition for 10 dollars at gamestop. Aside from that I've found Ace Combat: Shattered Skies for 6 dollars. (I loved AC:SS, I lost my original copy some while back. (Stupid friends borrowing things and then moving off))

Star Ocean 2 for free.
We had a workplace thing with school that made us work somewhere for a couple of days.
I was in a store, and I got the game for free when I pointed out that the case was damaged.
Those damn PSX cases... They were shit. They always break, but this time, I'm grateful it was broken.

Well considering that more than half of my game collection is from bargain bins, it's hard to pin one down. The best deal I think I've gotten is Shadow of the Colossus for $7.99. There's only a few PS3 games I haven't bought from the $20 bin at Wal-Mart.

Edit: Zellers was selling Mirror's Edge for $2.99. I really feel sorry for that game. <_<

Picked up both Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil on Steam for cheap. Actually sorry to have missed them on initial release, as both those developers really deserved my money.

As for an actual bin purchase, I gave The Saboteur a shot for 7? or so, and was glad I did. Shame Pandemic ran out of money, because with about six more months' refinement, it could have been a GOTY-worthy title.

Also, I remember a few years ago when General Mills (the company that makes Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Trix, ect) included a free PC game in cereal boxes. I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2 out of that. Most hours I've put into a game, ever.

-Metroid Prime for $3 from gamestop. I would've gotten echoes, but it was $17 higher for some reason.
-Megaman X Collection for $3 from a guy. Really appreciated since I wanted to try them. plus a bonus racing game.
-Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS2) for $20 from the same guy. I thought it was a steal since gamestop used to sell these for $50, even if they were used.

Final Fantasy X for seven dollars American? Shoot, it's been so long since I've gone slumming. Not that I rich. I just usually use a little more info now and plan my video gaming purchases. Ah, the heady days of youth. Oh, wait, that's where I got Vampire Reign... never mind.

Planed-video-game shopping for the win.

Garry's Mod wasn't in the bargain bin, but given the money to hours I played it ratio, it's about a cent an hour.
I got another out of a technical bargain bin, Fallout 3: GOTY Edition for twenty-seven bucks brought my ratio to about 17 cents an hour.
Bully for PS2 was also really good, but I could have gotten a better deal.

Edit: Now that I think about it, Garry's Mod would round up to about 2 cents, but still.
