Alright, where the FLYING F**K are you guys finding these bargain bins huh?!

You'd think living in the most BLOODY rich province in Canada (Alberta) you'd find good deals! But NOOOO the economy is still raping me up the bum!!

I bought EDF 2017 for like 2.50 bucks, yet I spent over 115 hours on it, guess its one of those game that are so bad that they are actually good, just like starship troopers and the fact that it allows me to play SPLITSCREEN COOP probly helps too...

Ratchet & Clank 1, 2 and 3 for under a tenner. Roughly 200 hours of my life went into those.

the day i finally decided to go to a gamestop store for the first time to buy Just Cause 2, Just Cause 2 was in the bargin bin.

the irony was not lost on me as i had to ask where it was when i could not find it on the shelfs.

and yes... i got it because of ZP, and i love it.
My brother and I got that and Dead Rising 2 at a clearance sale the week before ZP's top and bottom fives came out- best investment we've ever made.

Singularity, $20. I would have paid 60 for it, I was amazed at how over looked it was, sure the online is amazing, but it still has people playing, plus the single player was great.

Bought the first Mass Effect for £12 on a whim because "HOLY SHIT SPACESHIPS" and it became one of my favourite games, supplying over a hundred hours of entertainment and nearly double that for the sequel.

Also, both versions of Okami I bought for extremely cheaply and loved every second. I make it a point to play through it every few months, it's now absolutely my favourite game.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time I bought for £5 in-store and it's one of the best games of last gen.

Metro 2033 I got for around £10 in a Steam sale and it completely wowed me. Excellent game and one that I would immediately recommend to any fan of Half-Life or BioShock.

The older pokemon games, the Breath of Fire series and Oblivion...
Though the last one probably counts as the kindess of a friend rather a bin, but it still cost me next to nothing!

I think the best bargain bin purchase I've ever had was Psychonauts.
I bought it awhile ago, but I think it was about 8 to 9 dollars. Money well spent, says I.

Also, I got the full version of Psychonauts for... free! It was during a promotional GameTap thing, way back when, in fact so far back that the downloadable client version of GameTap that I used no longer exists, it's all web-based now. What an incredible game. GameTap was so good for that as well, I never bought anything with it, I just used the promotional free games! Also Tomb Raider Legend/Anniversary on that free service. But Psychonauts is just such a fantastic game, I wish I could have paid money for it.

I got Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorow out of a bin for $4.99. Completed my collection, and a great game.

I have a store near me that under-prices PC games like you wouldn't believe

Morrowind - £2

Warhammer 40k Dark Crusade - £1.00

Mechwarrior 4 w/ black knight add-on - £1.00

Pretty much every Pc game is a £1

heh heh suckers...

Also, the Orange Box, the week it was launched, for £20. £20 for 5 incredible games that spurred me to get into gaming proper and stop being an ignorant fool? I'd say that's worth it. Hell, I played TF2 so much that, since I bought it, it has never been uninstalled from my computer. Not virus nor crash has removed it. I love all those games.

Got the first God of War for 3 bucks, but that only adds to the list of gems I've found. Second Sight for 4, Killer 7 for 3 (brand new even), Odama for 4 w/mic (also new).

Most of the games I have are stuff I've gotten for under 15 bucks now that I think about it.

Paradroid for some trivial amount of money, from a literal bargain bin of old games with unexciting covers just tossed in a pile. Awesome game with a clever leveling mechanic.
