Out of an actual, physical bargain bin at a store? True Crime: Streets of LA for GameCube. Of course, it's one of maybe 3 or 4 games I've picked up out of a bargain bin, because bargain bins are usually so full of shovelware that I walk away empty handed.

Best game I got for just a really low price, though? Probably the Doom Collection during a Steam sale for $8.74. That's Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Master Levels for Doom 2, Final Doom, Doom 3, and Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil.

Or it could be the time I got a copy of Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS absolutely free from Amazon thanks to all the credit I had from preordering other games I wanted.

Does a digital bin count?
I got Left 4 Dead 2 for five dollars.
I also bought a brand new copy of Jak 2 for the same price at a yard sale, but that was half a lifetime ago.

The new Wolfenstein and Quake 4 for around 4 dollars.

2 of the best first person shooters I've played in recent years.

^ not sure if the digital Steam bin counts, but I got Recettear and five other indie games I don't care as much about for $5. Recettear is easily worth full price.

As far as a real bargain bin, I never find anything good in those because they're always picked over by the time I get to them. The best I've gotten from a bargain bin was a copy of Bujingai for PS2 for $1.99.

Prey. For three dollars.

Three.

Try and find me a better deal than that.
Serious Sam for Xbox for two.

That's the First, and Second Encounter, on one disc. With splitscreen coop. Yeah, it was in the pc version, but you can't really do that on a laptop.
Damn, man... I prefer Prey but there's no denying, that's a better deal.

I tip my hat to you, good sir.

Question about that- I have all four Zero games already, but is the collection worth it? Is there any sort of improvement or really good bonus content?

EDIT: Also, god DAMN I wish I knew when that sale was going on, I totally would have gotten that Doom collection O_O

Kingdom hearts and FFX for £15-got both as a child, and to say they opened me up to RPGs, and gaming in general is a huge understatement. I still love playing both of them to this very day.

Supposedly, the collection is just all 4 games together with a central image gallery or something. If you have all four games on the GBA already, I'd just skip it. Besides, the GBA games have the additional use of allowing you to fight bosses from MMZ 3 and 4 by having the games in the bottom slot of the DS while playing ZX.

I got Starcraft free. I've rescued Ico and Beyond Good and Evil copies from bargin bin anonymity and gave them to friends who enjoyed them immensely. Through Steam weekend deals I've bought each Half-Life installment at an 80-something per cent mark down. I bought Dead Space for five bucks just the other day.

The game that is worth ninety dollars? Intelligent Qube.

Well, I got Alan Wake for $20 at a special sale just after Christmas '10, but I guess that doesn't count...
I think it would have to be X-men: Legends for the NGC that I got about three weeks ago for $2.99. That's a pretty good deal.

A whole 50 pence for Might and Magic VII, which is incidentally my second most replayed game (after spyro). Talk about getting your moneys worth.
