I normally don't watch movies more than once, for lack of times. But if I love that movie, I would probably watch it again and again. I actually I want to see Requiem for a Dream again to be honest.

For me the remake of "The Fly"...

mostly for that scene where the woman is in the hosptal...
Gaaah! I'd forgotton about that! Now i'm all creeped out again!

OT; As someone mentioned earlier; Black Swan. Absolutely GORGEOUS movie, but watched it, loved it (especially *that* scene with the two lead actresses which everybody goes on about and for DAMN good reason.) and found myself so creeped out that i'm really glad i don't have to watch it again. I have similar feelings towards Perfect Blue; in that it's brilliant but insanely creepy.

Oh, and Super, for one particular scene that came across as very wierd and disturbing. (I feel it was supposed to, so i applaud it for getting it right.)

No, I like Requiem for Dream a lot, I love to see it once in a while but I see your point.

I don't know of any movie I can think of. Every good film becomes better if I see it again. More details show up that catch my interest. So no, not really, except maybe (but I highly doubt people accept this as a good film at all) the Passion of Christ (by Mel Mad Max Gibson)

I have 3 films that I could quite happily never watch again.
You missed the point entirely, good sir and/or madame. It's the BEST movie you never want to see again (or The best movie you Never Whant Yo See Again, if you prefer), not the worst. That's a different forum post, I think.
Yeah, I just noticed that I misread the title of the post, Durrrr...

Ok, on topic, I can't think of any great films that I never want to see again, if I've enjoyed a film, I'll watch it many times over regardless of how depressing or unpleasant to watch.

I agree with you about watching Grave of the Fireflies once (while I have own every Studio Ghibli film on DVD except for that film until my mate gave me his, gee I wonder why).

OT- To me it would be Avatar. Before you say you hate Avatar I thought it was mostly good even with the flaws, deal with it.
The reason why I would never want to watch it again is the lack of 3D. What made that film work was the 3D effect so owning it on Dvd/ Blu-ray will not have the same appealing effect (this is true when my bro watch it again on blu-ray at his mate house).

Paranormal Activity.

Don't get me wrong, I adore that movie but I never want to see it ever again. Like, ever. Mostly because it scared me shitless. Who am I kidding, that's the only reason!

I tried to watch Paranormal Activity 2 with Jordan last night but I really couldn't even get to the big scares, I just wanted it to be gone.

I am such a fag...

Same here ! I can't honestly see why anyone could see this as their favorite movie. I mean, it's not the kind of movies you want to see more than once. Oh and there's "Grave of the Fireflies" if you've seen it, you know why.

Cannibal Holocaust. I thought it had a strong message...but I can't watch it again.
8mm. I thought it was pretty good...I don't wanna watch it again.
Wanted. It was awesome the first time. Second time it was ok. Third time it was so stale I couldn't put myself through it.

I have two:
1) The Ring: watched it for the first time last Wednesday, took half an hour to get to sleep that night
2) Epic Movie: so incredibly sucktacular but somehow so compelling.

Don't get me wrong, Requiem was a great movie, it's just one of those that really hard to watch because the characters get so fucked up by their actions that it hurts. Same with Grave of the Fireflies. I loved that movie a lot when I watched it, but it's not a movie that I immediately reach for when I want to enjoy a movie.

Inception, saw it once in theaters and once on DvD. I don't know why but that movie just gives me an unexplainable bad feeling in my gut. Not at the movie itself, it's a good movie, something about it just doesn't sit right with me.
