The feeling you get when watching worlds crumble and civilizations collapse while knowing that without you it would still be a paradise.

After that there's the feeling you get when just instantly crushing one of those goody two-shoes heroes right after they said you'd never succeed.

Generally: Succeeding in your Grand Master Plan, whether it's Good or Evil.

Whenever you sit in a crunched up position for too long and when you stand up all the blood rushes back to your brain and you get all dizzy and your vision blacks out.

Awesome.

Playing cards with a bunch of friends in a Holiday Inn lobby until 3 in the morning, then going bowling, and watching the sunrise as you drive back to the hotel with the radio blasting.

Squeezing the trigger on a rifle, and through the scope, watching the bullet sail into your target.(Not a human target, of course!)

Call me a gun nut, but that's an amazing feeling.

Waking up in the morning, going to the toilet and:

Stretching, peeing, scratching you back, and having a bit of head-rush, at the same time...

When you finally get your homework done on a Saturday and can spend all day sleeping in and playing video games. I have not had that feeling in AGES.

Petting a really soft kitten while feeling the vibration of his/her purring

Hugs from pretty girls :)

Running my fingers through the long, silky hair of a pretty girl

Eating my favorite good foods and drinking my favorite drinks

That feeling of relief when you finish something big like a test or project at school

Sand between the toes

The warm sun

Getting any burden off your chest feels great to

Sitting outside, in the sunlight, nobody bothering you, listening to Symphony No. 100(The "Military" Symphony)

Oh dear God yes.

I especially love this when I'm in the state of between sleep and waking, feeling so warm, yet being able to do anything I want in my dreams. Barring that, having the TV remote on hand in nice too.

When you feel her warm feet. (My feet are always cold)

The worst feeling: when her feet are colder.

cuddling close to girlfriend...
or jumping down flights of stairs (with or without parkour roll) and feeling the delayed rush of adrenaline

As someone with pretty low self esteem, any time I've stepped into a conversation involving my qualified techy mates and other people, and saved everyone an hour of confusion by simply explaining what they're on about in layman's terms.

I'm not an expert techy, but unlike them, I've retained the ability to talk to normal people about PCs in a way they can understand, and it's quite pleasing.

In a similar vein, I volunteered at an adult education place for a while, and there was a real pleasure in seeing an old dear of about 80 break thru the barriers of new technology and just 'get' how to send emails and use wordpad to write a short letter, and look things up online without fear.

I remember explaining the abstract concept of files and folders to the older generation wasn't easy, especially as to them, a file is something you put folders in, storing documents in the folder, then putting the folder in a file.

However, when I explained that folder structure is like a family tree, suddenly it makes sense to most people. C: is the grandfather, Program Files is the father, Betheseda is the son, Fallout 3 is the grandson, etc.

As the great Terry Pratchett once wrote, 'its a lie, but a useful lie that works, when the truth would just confuse people.' (or something like that.)
