What is everybody's favorite offline multiplayer game? To start it off I would say mine is Pacman Vs. on the gamecube. It always gets dished out at parties as we see who is the ultimate pacman master.

Timesplitters was always great for offline multiplayer. Difficult too if your friend insisted on being the monkey every time.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl, I always end up in tears, laughing, whenever I play that game with my friends because of some of the ridiculous KOs we get off of one another.

Now this one isnt multiplayer in the normal sense of the word, but ill say portal. If u ever played portal u no it was a single player game obviousley but the game is 100 times better if one of ur best buds is with u helping u solve it. You and someone sit down play portal for 3 hours on a rainy day and its so much fun. Thats the true way to play that game.

Army of Two. My friend bought it and asked me to come and play for a while and then I ended up staying there the whole night and we managed to complete the game in one sitting :p

It looked good. The story line was so awfully bad that it was funny. It had cool co-op and gun customisation. Can't wait for Army of Two: The 40th day

I loved Red Faction 2's multiplayer so much I played it with bots all the time, so that game gets my vote.
