BUNA NA NUNA NA!! NA NA NUNA NA!!

I don't care how many times it's been said before.

Persona 4 is simply one of the best games for PS2. And one of the best games ever made.

It's perfect from my perspective. The characters, story, music, and gameplay are all top-notch.

Any person willing to call themselves a gamer needs to play it.

[sub][sub][sub][sub]Metal Gear Solid 3, Kingdom Hearts, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper and Shadow of The Colossus are pretty good too I guess...[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub]

MGS3
Devil May Cry 1, 2, and possibly 3
Katamari Damacy

These next ones aren't exclusives, but still awesome in my eyes (Only had them on the PS2)
Incredible Hulk: Ultimate destruction. It's kinda like a prototype Prototype (Made by the same guys)
LOTR: Return of the the king
Scarface: The world is yours

Story wise it was nothing special for a Final Fantasy but the gameplay overhaul was massive to a point it didn't feel like a turn based slow-fest and became very enjoyable.

Onimusha 2!
I've played all the Onimusha games (except for the fighting one) and Onimusha 2 is by far the best one of the block.

Also
Burnout 3: Takedown
Canis Canem Edit
Dragon Quest 8
Fight Night Round 3
Kingdom Hearts
Persona 4
Prince Of Persia: the sand of Time
Shadow of the Colossus
SSX 3

Look at me, I'm so indecisive.

Im suprised i havent seen an Odin Sphere mention on here.. its a great little Hack'n'Slash with AMAZING visuals and just so much character .. i love it!

EDIT - Ill throw Rogue Galaxy into the hat too just for the fact i really enjoyed it and the graphics remind me a bit of Studio Ghibli at times and even though it was Level-5 it was highly underrated by a lot of people!

Ooh, Black! Good call. In honor of Criterion's Renderware, I'm going to throw Burnout 3 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas into the ring. Nothing quite like stealing an M1 tank and driving it back to your neighborhood. Also: jetpacks.

There's a lot of love for the Persona games here, for good reason, but not enough for the ones made by NIS. Disgaea is a great series, and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters is just awesome.

Odin Sphere is a great Action/RPG. There are 5 playable main characters, each with their own fighting style, abilities, and stories that intertwine with each other. There's item crafting and farming involved, and it's a really great game.

No love for the Devil Summoner and Digital Devil Saga games?

Better than Persona 3 IMO.

Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex:
A GOOD anime based game? What the fuck, am I right?
While not the best game in the world, the simple fact that this game is not total shit (SEE: GitS on the PSP) and has a GREAT 4 player multi-player mode with a decent story, great graphics, and controls that actually work, some really good weapons and combat, this is one of my favorite anime based games out there.
Almost didn't buy this one due to the ugly cover art, became one of my personal favorites on PS2.

007 Nightfire is some of the most fun I've ever had with split screen. Also, NFS: Carbon was a solid game. Medal of Honor: Frontline and Rising Sun were good ones, as well.

If you don't mind playing games in japaneese check out another century's episode, and the super robot wars alpha games, alpha 1 and gaiden are for the ps1 and for the most part are translated. alpha 2 and 3 aren't anywhere near done, but are great and full of awesome
