The Best Villain of 2012 So Far

I had a long explanation for why I like Grigori the red dragon from Dragon's Dogma as a villain but the internet went out before I could get it up and I'll be damned before I type it up again. Agreed, I consider him one of the best boss fights I have ever experienced in my years of gaming. A lot of people give DD flak for it's bad story but the universes lore/world is extremely fleshed out which includes that bad ass.

I liked Alex Mercer in Prototype 2 before the very ending (tho I liked the boss fight). He seemed like such a cool, scheming badass. Plus, players who have played the first one knows how powerful he is.

I loved Ra's Al Ghul's boss fight and schemes in Arkham City. It was so planned out that it was already in motion even possibly before Arkham Asylum's storyline happened.

The Hacker who takes control of Labrys. He doesn't have a lot of dialogue, but his voice is like the dumpster baby of Glados and MacInTalk. It was a nice and creepy performance, and it drives me crazy that we don't get to take him down yet.

I dunno what Atlus has planned for the future, but I can't wait to get that guy and punch his throat in...

I don't buy that. The story of DD is the best one Capcom has told, the twist at the end was brilliant where:

Anyone answering Bane clearly doesn't understand TDKR. Talia was the real villain, Bane had the same role he did in Batman & Robin. He was muscle, and that's about it.

Thanos might be my answer in a few years, we'll see how the Untitled Avengers Movie Sequel plays out. Personally, my worst enemy is Alexander in Civ 5 G&K. He always steals city states and starts wars, and then never knows when to quit. More seriously, Balon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones is part of the reason I hate the Greyjoys even more than I hate the Lannisters.

In my mind hes not so much a villan as he is someone forced into a required role.

Yes, he has to go on a mindless rampage, maybe destroy a few worlds, but none of it is really on his terms.

I was hoping that there would be some kind of true ending if I beat all the stories, get to take down whoever that is. I hate cliff hangers, I keep thinking about what Atlus will do.
