The first real improvement over the bow & arrow, was the repeater rifle.

Crossbows and muskets had too many limitations to call these weapons superior to longbows.

The repeater changed the nature of war, so I'll go with that.

It will also never work. There's only one hammer, so you can't fire both barrels at the same time, making it pointless. Plus, even if you could fire them both at the same time, you'd use the whole clip in 3 shots. That's not good. It's even usless in game, that thing can apparently punch through armour, yet it does bugger all damage.

Sure the thing could only move on rails but the shells it fired we're the first man made obits that went into low orbit O_O, and with a range of 6miles or was it 12miles so in other words "Big gun...little target"
