I personally think that it's truly fantastic when elements are added to a fictional work just because the writers, directors or producers decided it was something they wanted to do. It can make the work nonsensical, but that's all just part of the charm isn't it?

But you keep mentioning The Legend of Chun-Li. I don't think there is a soul in the universe, or any other universe, who would call this a good movie. So, where is your stuff on the 1994 Street Fighter?
I know it's not a very good movie, but C'mon! Raul Julia performing umpteenbajillion Psycho Crushers on Guile? It's got to be good. I would have loved to have heard you mention this one, if not to see what your feelings are on it, then to at least see you get on the "Of Course!" bandwagon.

Amazingly, I can't find any mention of this on Teleport City [http://teleport-city.com/], which has become my go-to site for reviews of oddball cinema (first brought to my attention almost ten years ago with their review of the Star Wars Holiday Special [http://teleport-city.com/wordpress/?p=588]). I'll have to bring it to their attention.
