The biggest expense you paid for the smallest item

While looking through my Lego collection I realised there were a few sets I'd only bought for the minifigures, ?30 of lego for about 2-3 ?2 items (going by blindbag prices)

I've also got a friend who loves a steelbook so much he has been known to buy a game he already owns just for the steelbook case, again probably only worth a couple of pounds.

So what would you say is the most you've spent for the smallest of trinkets, a ?50 box of cards for a single shiny, or a TV just for a special edition DVD?

I spent about thirty dollars (price+shipping) to get a 1990's Power of the Force Bobba Fett action figure,
and I spent twenty-five dollars on this guy

Both now reside on my dresser.
And then I spent ninety dollars on the Platinum collectors edition of 'Neon Genesis Evangelion'

Back when work was terrible but my pay was great I bought shark cards in GTA. I paid real money for fictional lines of code to buy sport's cars.

The only one I can think of at the top of my head is my 35 Pounds Swiss Army Knife.

Sure I never really utalize it properly like I never gone camping but I did used some of the tools in the past which it came in really handy.

Speaking of which... Spent 50 Dollars for 3 basically identical star ships in Star Trek Online... Sure they each had a different unique console. For the record it was the Romulan Warbird Dreadnought 3 pack, the Thelaron pulse was absolutely impossible to land a hit with... But the tree special consoles working together on one of those things made your choice of either a Scimitar, Falchion, or Tulwar Warbird stupidly over powered. Neither the Odyssey Star Cruisers, not the Bortas'Qu dreadnoughts came remotely close... Which is the story of the Romulan Republic faction in STO, they lack proper faction status, but their ships are insanely OP. Especially because all of them have Romulan Battle Cloak, so they can all cloak when under red alert. Only Klingon Raiders(glass cannons), and Raptors(Sub-par Escorts) had the same ability, but neither got the bonus offered to Romulans on decloaking.

Personally I have a 40k Space Wolf army, and a 30k Death Guard army. My roommate and I share an Ork army. And I'm just starting a Thousand Sons army.
And I've been collecting for a decade now.

I think I spent 100 pounds (or like $150) on this thing:
This isn't my picture by the way. I already had a keyboard that functioned fine, so I don't remember why I got this flashy thing.

Does Kickstarter/Indiegogo count? I threw $1000 at Indivisible.

Physically? WH40K Minis [Space Marines]. Now that I'm home all the time due to literally nothing to go out for, I can't even play.

Digitally... The smallest things I've bought are indie games in Steam sales.

Physically smallest? While I try to think of something with a very small volume, there are some expensive items I routinely buy that have very little mass for the price, about US$0.40 per gram/$11 per ounce. [small]The joke is I'm talking about game discs in DVD cases.[/small]

I believe I've explained this poorly, I don't mean the smallest item with the highest price tag. I'm talking about intances where you've bought a large expensive item but only wanted a small component of it.

Top that.
I think you win, right there, unless there's a computer hardware guy slamming down thousands for a microchip on ebay.

Mind you, my insurance paid for a surgery in which they adjusted a small portion of my elbow in order to relieve a cubital tunnel syndrome. I just forget the amount it costed at the time.

You beat me to it, was going to say my 30k Imperial Fists, more expensive then any of my 40k stuff, specifically my Rapier Weapon Batteries, their not much bigger then a space marine but cost ?30 each, not including postage.

Which reminds me, I should probably start saving to get some Rapier Quad Mortars...

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Dang, people spending a ton on 40k and my friend just gave me his space wolf army (I should really sell it since I dont play and its just taking up space).

Hmm, most I spent on something small... Probably a mix between a little statuette of Felicia from Darkstalkers I got for like 79 bucks and a Pinkie Pie plush I got before the official ones weren't crap from a fan creator for $60. Although I do have a couple gundam model things that I probably spent 70-80 on each.
