Okay, this is getting a bit creepy. Looking up my birthdate I just learned Yvonne Strahovski (the voice actor and face of Miranda from Mass Effect 2) was born on the same day as me in the same town (so presumably the same hospital, I suppose), thirteen years earlier.

That's it, I'm convinced we're meant to be.

24th September. Hmmm.

I share the birthday with Arthur Guinness, which is pretty groovy.

It's the date the mormon church denounced polygamy, in 1890.

And it's the day Trinidad and Tobago celebrates becoming a republic.

march 6th

wikipedia gave me some interesting ones.

1836 ? Texas Revolution: Battle of the Alamo ? After a thirteen day siege by an army of 3,000 Mexican troops, the 187 Texas volunteers, including frontiersman Davy Crockett and colonel Jim Bowie, defending the Alamo are killed and the fort is captured.

Interesting, but I'm not from Texas so whatever.

1992 ? Michelangelo computer virus begins to affect computers.

Odd troll virus that only does anything on March 6th, and is named for it happening on Michelangelo's birthday.

April 30th is my birthday, and also the birthday of the Church of Satan, which was founded on that day, and the date of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun's suicide. Which is pretty cool.

I also share my birthday with Kirsten Dunst, Tom Fulp (founder of Newgrounds) and the current PM of Canada, Stephen Harper.
I was born on that day too, I think that alone makes it pretty significant. It's also the day George Washington became the US president but I'm obviously way more important.

July 8th, 1947 ? Reports are broadcast that a UFO crash landed in Roswell, New Mexico.

Quite a nice little one for me. Also, Kim Jong-il succeeding his father :(
Don't forget, Kevin Bacon was also born on July 8, I guess we're just lucky that way.

September 28th.

1066 - William the Bastard (as he was known at the time) invades England beginning the Norman Conquest.
1939 - Warsaw surrenders to Nazi Germany during World War II.

No absolutely incredibly famous event that everybody knows has happened on my birthday. As for who I share it with?

-Hilary Duff *sigh*
-Confusius
-Moon Unit Zappa

I never realised my birthday was so...bland.

But if we are counting deaths:

-Pope John Paul I
-Miles Davis
-Edwin Hubble
-Pyotr Aleksandrovich Tolstoy
-William Edward Boeing

My deaths list appears more prestigious than my birth list.

August 6th:

1928: Birth of Andy Warhol ^^
1942: Day of the Hiroshima bombing.
1970: Birth of M. Night Sham-, you know what, no.

Kind of a mixed bag of events, it seems.
