There is nothing more anoying than inpatient RPers when you've jst bought a copy of Black ops. :p

The rain fell heavily in the city and the overcast weather fit the mood perfectly. The beasts that have yet to be naimed, wandered aimlessly around the city looking for prey. First was a nerdy looking boy of about 16. HE ran as fast as he could, but eventually tripped and was ferosiously ripped apart. The survivors wandered the city or took refuge, but there weren't many. Those that were still alive mostly had voerly ambisiouse goals, suck as getting to Japan. The Japan seakers were seen as idiots by most.
The place is void! Why would you want to go there?
Most of the survivors had a spark of insanity somewhere, some more than others. Many of them heard voices. Whether this was a good thing or not depended on the character.

The sounds of water hitting concrete filled London and there was an ocasional scream.
Dan walked slowly and silently through the streets, ignoring the rain. He loved it, but now was not a time for pleasure. He stalked into an ally, without a sound.
What is this?
He took his only weapon from his pocket. a knife made from reinforced glass. Slowly he walked down the ally. Then he saw them. Two glowing orange eyes in the dark. IMedietly, he turned and sprinted out of the ally and set off down the street.

Wll be up in my next post (MAybe) ;)

There's nothing more annoying than a GM who starts an RP before he's finished Black Ops = P

has it begun then??

Barricaded in the ruins of an old abandoned Newsagents, Septimus sleeps close to his dying fire to escape the cold and dry himself out. It had been hard to find a refuge from the torrential downpoar that wasn't inhabited by the nameless beasts, but Septimus had gotten lucky.

Having used almost everything not nailed down in the shop to barricade any potential entry, an exhausted Septimus had lit his fire and settled down to sleep, hoping that the rain would pass by the time he woke up. His dreams were full of his Grandfather, and the hope that upon finding him, everything would turn out fine; a cure would be found for the disease and Septimus' pathetic life would drastically improve.

But it was only a dream....

As the fire died completely, Septimus suddenly opened his eyes. Not breathing, he dared not move as he heard the familiar guttural sounds of the beasts outside. Straining, Septimus hears a scratching on the other side of the door and slowly picks himself up off the floor so as not to make a sound.

Creeping to the shop's counter, Septimus crawls underneath the till and quietly weeps.

Go away... he silently pleads.

Outside, the rain is as heavy as it has been all day.

Henry stood on top of the Casthine building as the rain pounded the top of his makeshift shelter, as it did the rest of the roof. The roof access door had been locked, and reinforced. As Wolfe walked about, with his rifle, an antique passed down from his father, he thought he heard something, and quickly looked to the door, rifle raised. The rifle he had was nothing recent, in fact, it was over 110 years old. What he held in his hands was an old scoped Springfield.

What am I thinking? This rifle has rare ammo, as it is...I need a side-arm... he thought quietly.

He soon wondered if there even WERE any other survivors.
Looking down upon the city, Wolfe saw something that nearly made him scream out-loud. It was a beast in the same outfit his father wore when he turned. It was a sort of uniform, an odd looking one at that. The beast crawled, stalking, sniffing, looking directly at a barricaded shop down below.

Woah, woah woah! Rifle? What kind of rifle? It must be specific. Also, anything too modern is unaloud. Sorry.

Don't worry, its 20th century, meaning its just an old Springfield. Also, it says it is an antique, and a hand-me-down, so it would have to be pretty old.

Bridget stood at the window, watching the rain fall over her shelter.
He's been gone awful long.
She turned around and went to her bed to lie down.
I can't believe he's still gone. Did he abandon me? Did he forget about me? Maybe he's dead...No! He's better at combat. He can't die. He'd rip through those things.
She stood up with a sudden anger and walked over to her window again. She was just in time to see another human die by the things she calls infected. Bridget had named them after the second day, figuring it seemed appropriate. Bridget stood at that window, mezmerised by the small raindrops hitting against the house.
When will it end?
Bridget turned and grabbed a wooden sword off the ground.
"All he left me" she mumbled before going into a fighting stance and practicing her strikes.

Wolfe looked down, seeing a figure in the window of a small building or shelter down below.
He crouched down on the roof, aiming down the scope of his Springfield...
Dammit! Is that one of those things...Or a human? Damn this rain!
Henry continued to watch...What is it doing? Practicing? Last time I checked, these things never practice, they kill. Must be human...Must be...But how do I catch their attention...Without alerting the beasts?
Wolfe looked over towards where he thought he had seen his father.
I really don't want to alert him...Either.
Wolfe walked back to his shelter, which was made of deconstructed cubicles. They had been covered with a plastic sheet, taken from the area of the building that was still being remodeled. He had situated the shelter on an elevated area, so that the water did not cause any problems. This was done by placing it on a couple of the desks he had also taken from the building.
Wolfe remembered how he done this...And how slow it went. Also how frightened he was, not having at least one free hand to hold his knife.

Bridget practiced her sword techniques.
Overhead cut. Slash right. Slash left. Stab. Turn sword, stab behind you. Bring up block. Bring down block. Diaganol block. Diaganol block. repeat.
She went over it a couple times before putting the sword down.
Wow, it's hot now
Bridget walked up the stairs in her shelter and exited onto the roof.
A beautful day. Just like Dad would say
She smiled and took off one of her shirts, so she was left standing there in an undershirt. She was looking around when she spotted Wolfe.
Someone else?

Wolfe, moving to the edge again, looked down from atop the six story office building, at his father. Through the scope he watched his father crawl to the shop, and begin scratching at the rough barricade. Wolfe began to shake, out of fear.
Remaining fearful, he looked elsewhere...Back at the building, or structure, as one might say, where he had seen the lone figure in the window...It was no longer there.
Uh-oh...Where are the--Oh...Just moved...
Wolfe looked on the roof...Noticing the figure looking upwards.
I wonder if they see me, or not...
Wolfe raised a hand in the air, and waved to the figure on the roof below.

Bridget started shivering.
It's either the cold or that thing up there sees me
She squinted and was able to see a sillouhette of someone waving. Bridget ran to the corner of the building and looked down. The infected were down there. She dropped into a sneaking stance and walked back to the entrance to her shelter.
Make sure s/he knows where you're going
Bridget crept over to her shirt and grabbed it in one hand while the other hand waved to Wolfe. She then crept inside and grabbed another shirt and her sword.
Sneak over, don't kil any
She holstered her sword in a makeshift sheath and tied the sheath around her waist. She smoothed out her skirt and made sure that it was worn so she could run if she needed to. Bridget then walked over to the window and saw that Wolfe could still see her. Quietly she crept out the back door into a nearby allyway. Seeing that there were no infected there, she crept onto the street.

Wolfe saw what she was doing, almost instantly.
Sneaking out? They best be careful...
Looking down again...He saw her go through the clear alleyway, Twisting around to a different side of the roof, seeing that a connecting alleyway, again, clear, lead to the back entrance of the Casthine building.

Multitasking between HL1, and this thread is somewhat difficult.

Bridget stood out in the beginning of the alleyway, staring at Wolfe.
I wish we had some sort of communication
She reached down and made sure her extra clothes were safely covered under her shirt and while she checked her sword she saw that it was not as hard as before.
What the hell? Why is the sword rotting? Wait. He said something about not having it in ra-
Bridget sighed and turned looked back at Wolfe.
Don't cry. Keep cool. Sneak over to him
She moved a little into the road and quickly leaped back to avoid being seen by an infected. As it lumbered away she ran across the street in the open towards Wolfe, waving her arms above her head. She frantically looked around for an entrance but failed to find one. As she turned to run back she saw the same infected advancing towards her.

Wolfe looked down, and saw the thing advancing toward her.
Shit! I gotta take this one down...Gotta risk it...
With his finger on the trigger, Henry shot at the thing, while aiming directly at the lumbering monstrosity's head. The crack the rifle made echoed throughout the city.
After firing, Wolfe gestured to the connecting alleyway as best as he could.

Bridget saw the infected get hit by a bullet and risked a glance up to Wolfe.
He's pointing back to the all-there's a nother way straigth to him!
Bridget took out her, now rotted, sword and rand up to the infected hitting it twice in the head before sprinting to the ally. She ran down it, the rain covering her face. As she rounded a corner she dropped her sword to hold onto the clothes under her shirt.
Don't want to get gangreen or whatever that thing was called
She sprinted through the ally and didn't hear the infected behind her. As she came to the end she wondered where Wolfe was.

At the end of the alleyway sat a large metal door, that was partially open...
Wolfe moved to that side of the roof, and gestured down. The door that had sat down there was the back entrance.
Come on...Get inside, before more of them come...Having heard the shot... Wolfe thought to himself.

Bridget looked up and then looked into the door.
A trap? He did save you, but you can't let him know your tribe. Or that you are more capable than him with melee. Or that he won't see you coming if he f*ck's with you.
Bridget turned around and for a second saw the infected there. She screamed a little but found out that it wasn't an actualy infected and only an illusion of the rain. She pressed on inwards, hoping that it wouldn't seem she doesn't have a weapon. As Bridget moved into the building, she closed the door and turned around.
"Anyone there? Hello?" Bridget yelled taking a step forward.
Check for traps

The building creaked, but there were no signs of life...
"Bzzzt--Welcome to the Casthi--zzzzt--Corporation...We have all of you--zzzzzzzzt-needs"
The recording played, from a large screen just outside of another connecting door that lead to the lobby.
It was evident that Bridget was in the maintenance section of the building. Stairs to her left lead to the roof, as according to a small sign saying "Roof Access". There were no traps, however...Aside from a few bear traps laid out in the Main Lobby, but they were obviously to keep out the beasts, as they were easily noticeable.

Wolfe sat above, wondering about various things. He waited for someone to unlock the door, he waited very patiently, oddly enough.

Bridget heard the recording start up and dove to the ground, banging her leg against something. As it buzzed she realized it wasn't a real human saying it but instead some sort of robotic message machine. Bridget stood up and laughed a little, hoping no one would notice. As she took another step she saw that there was some work tables sitting around. Moving to one of these, she found a screwdriver and a hammer. Favoring stabbing gestures, Bridget grabbed the screwdriver and studied it for a minute or two, looking for any imperfections. Finding that the handle was cracked in the bottom left corner, she stuck it into the back of her skirt blade down.
Easy to take out...as long as no one is watching me
Bridget moves silently up the stairs, careful to look for any tripwires or traps. As she nears the door she slides a broken peice of glass underneath it and sees Wolfe waiting. Determined he wouldn't be hard to kill she grabs hold of the handle and wiggles it. Bridget frowns and knocks on the door.
