I'm wondering, guys - would you like a greater historical background of the story, leading up to the death of Aurelius or what? - for the record, Aurelius and Commodus were real emperor, Aurelius was seen as a mighty and great emperor, Commodus was a bit of a douchebag.

Sure, that would be interesting. I don't really know that much about them.

I've gotta go now, but I'll try and get a bit done on them tomorrow. For a bit of (not entirely factual) information on them, Marcus Aurelius and Commodus are featured in Gladiator.

BTW, I'll TRY and get a map of where you'll be tomorrow. Don't know how it'll turn out, but I'll try.

some motivation would be cool. Also, I'll take that reserve.

Name: Virgil Titus
Gender: Male
Age: 29

Appearance: Virgil is a lanky man, he is white with green eyes and a forgettable face. He has long arms and legs and is 5?11. He has a large and ragged scar on his torso that runs diagonally from his collar bone to his stomach. He has dark brown hair that he keeps very short. He wears typical roman cloths, nothing too low but nothing to write home about either. He has very detailed knowledge of the human body which is why he opts to carry around a few needles and the occasional surgical blade for whatever use may arise, he hates being unprepared.

Why have you opted to join?: To put it simply, he is a vigilante and wants to help ?take over Rome from the corrupt, incestuous and shameful Commodus? This is his chance to do what he dose best but on a huge scale.

Background Story: Virgil was raised by a clan of vigilantes that called themselves ?Jupiter?s Will?. They sought to ?cleanse? the blessed home of the gods (Rome) by washing it in the blood of the wicked. They learned to bland in, seem like they belong wherever they are but stay inconspicuous enough to be forgotten as soon as they leave. They hid in plain sight and could trick their way into anywhere they wanted to go. They were also ruthless killers. They learned to kill as swiftly and quietly as possible which is why they were all highly educated on the details of the human body. They could slip a needle into your heart, killing you instantly, in a crowd of people and do it so stealthily that no one would know it happened until the target fell dead to the ground. Virgil was one of the best of them. He had a record of 64 kills under his belt until ?The night?. One night a senior member of Jupiter?s Will found him gleefully dissecting a human body, the person was still alive. The old fool ran to the others and told them what he saw. Then, their compound became their tomb. Virgil spent the next four hours killing every last member of the clan. They were no match for him. The only person that stood a chance was his own father. Virgil came at him with all his strength, and in the struggle he gained the large scar on his chest. He emerged from their underground compound bathed in blood, theirs and his own. He now continues his work, both religious, and?recreational.

Job: He functions as a freelance doctor to keep up sufficient funds, but he is by no means limited by his profession.

Religion: Traditional roman polytheism (Jupiter, Mars, Vulcan ect.)

Social Views: he generally finds himself detached from people as a whole. He pretty much sees everyone as a unique test subject. He dose, however, hate people he considers ?evil? I?ll give you an example: Once upon a time he found himself in a small village where a local group of spoiled brats that came from rich families were making life intolerable for the common folk (protection money, public beatings, the works) so he got himself into one of their parties and poisoned the ring leader then kidnapped the 2nd in command and dissected him. No-one ever found out who did it or where the second kid went, but life got much easier for those people after that.

I just want to point this out, Virgil is not a Sam Fisher type uber stealth soldier, he is just really good at being inconspicuous.

<spoiler=Fabricia Aquilina>
Hopefully this one works.

Name: Fabricia Aquilina
Age: 25
Gender: Female

Appearance: A black beauty, with blue eyes and black long hair. She has a muscular body and some scars, since she has been fighting in the arena. She is quite large, especially for a woman, almost as big as any of the largest gladiators.

Why have you opted to join?: She wants to kill and has had enough of fighting what Rome wants her to fight. Now she has decided to kill romans instead and sees the brotherhood, as her best opportunity to do that. Since running loose on the streets killing romans, would only end in her own death.

Background Story: Fabricia was one of many slaves brought to Rome. She was different than most though. Her temperament and physical capacities quickly separated her from the rest. She wasn't sold as a slave, but brought to the arena and made to fight for her life. She managed, against the odds, to escape from capture and killed a couple of soldiers in the process.
She has remained hidden in Rome since then, trying to support her living, by robbing people.

Job: Gladiatrix

Religion: Atheism

Social Views: She doesn't really hate anything in particular, but it's definitely not a good idea to make her angry either. She loves the smell and taste of blood, to fight and could most likely be considered a barbarian because of this.

Weapon Type of choice: She knows how to use most weapons, but prefers a shield and a sword.

10 days of no interest made me feel as if it was just an uninteresting idea.
Aye I do understand that, but not a single bump? Good sir you must persist!

And I eagerly await even more information, I think I might need to learn a bit more about Rome though...

Very nice sheet, we might need to nerf the guy a LITTLE in the RP - but everything else stands good, could you also do the Weapon Type of Choice? Thanks :)

I understand that but I felt that bumping last time had rather annoyed people. Not to mention I felt that this RP was lacking in background info (which I WILL update sometime today - I'm going out now, however) and assumed it wasn't up to scratch. But I take your advice and WILL persist further for future RPs!

Virgil's weapon of choice is his needles (BTW they are each about 5 inches long) and I don't think he needs to be nerfed because like I said, he actually sucks in head to head battle. He is only good at stealthy killing, that is why his dad almost killed him in thier fight, because his dad actually knew how to use a sword.

Correct he (Shapsters) is, I'd planned to start the RP 12 days ago when I knew I had loads of spare time ahead of me... sadly it was only brought up two days ago, doesn't matter - it's just I have a restricted time schedule.

If you keep bumping you'll probably get in trouble. And by the way, when the 2 reserves put their sheets in, we should probably start soon afterwords because I think the enthusiasm is dieing a bit.

The enthusiasm is just beginning my friend, unless you're attempting to kill it yourself. I want an earnest amount of people to begin with (up to 9 including myself) as well... Patience is a virtue.

I'd say one bump for the sole purpose of bumping every day is perfectly reasonable. You could also ask your already signed up players to subtly bump for you ;D

I'd also say it's rather shocking how impatient people are being, give it time jeez.

Okay fine, I'll be more patient...don't have to rub it in.
