The Brutal Legend Demo - anyone play it yet?

Well, sort of. If you pre-ordered the game from Gamestop, you get a code to download the demo. Otherwise, I think you'll have to wait another week or so.

I've gotten to play it early because I'm super-special and awesome, and all I have to say is that if you are a fan of Old-School Straight-Up Metal, there is no way you can go wrong with this game.

Also, cool cameo by the guy that did Raz's voice in Pyschonauts.

I believe you mean Rocktober (Roct. for short)

And I think it's similar to World at War where you got a beta of the MP for pre-ordering. It's just so you can see what the game is like before you buy it. I quite like it, because if I were to pre-order and find out I dislike the game I could just cancel it and only waste 5 dollars instead of 60.

Ok a beta is a different beast then a demo first off. And secondly EXACTLY!!!! If you preorder it with no demo get it on launch then find out you don't like it they still got your money. Sure it sucks for you but it is good for them. With all the hype surrounding this game I can't believe they cheaped out on the preorder bonus. Jeez throw out a shirt or a figurine since the demo is planned anyways you aren't getting anything all that special.

I loved the demo. The dialogue delivered with Schafer's special brand of humor, the gameplay is fun and quick to pick up on, and overall, it's fun.

No Demo. I'm in Dubai, and there's no Gamestop. Just some Local game retailer. They do preorders for the game, but not in the sense they give you the demo.

Actually, if this does very well in sales, Schafer should get to remaking Psychonauts and Grim Fandango with HD graphics on the 360 and PS3. Just put on the game,

"FROM THE MASTERMIND BEHIND BRUTAL LEGEND" That'll attract people. I hope.
