I can't believe you forgot gyro meat. The gyro-cheeseburger is just amazing.
Eggs are amazing in burgers, though I don't really like mixing mustard or sauce with the egg, so the burger tends to feel a little dry.
Also, how have I never had a burger with gyro meat? I need to find a place capable of making such a thing.
Use a little mayonnaise, it goes quite well with eggs with its mild flavor.
Mayo in a burger? I'm an open minded fellow, but that sounds downright heretical, I might be wrong, but the condiments that can be added to a burger is Ketchup, BBQ sauce, garlic sauce of some kind, mustard, and cheese based sauces/dips. Mayo makes it seem more like a sandwich than anything else.
But being a student of the burger I'd love to hear what Mayo adds to the experience/taste.
