Personally I've had mostly decent people to deal with at Centrelink, with only a couple of lousy ones. Even then it was more a case of impatience and cynicism which would inevitably come from working at such a place.
Sorry I reacted so strongly, its just that I look at the work that these people do, and I respect them for it, knowing how much patience and self control it would take.
I also can't stress enough how they only enforce the rules and cover their own asses.
It seems however its a simple case of differing experiences. You've never met a decent Centrelink employee, and I've never met a real asshole one.
Someone should accidentally punch/stab him in the face and say ,"I see my mistake, but I don't agree with the idea of apologies". Either that or sue him. I'm sure he jury will love his line.akapellah21 said:The manager at my Panera Bread. WTF does that mean???
Be careful, we don't usually go for the most expensive ones. We go for the ones with the most markup/profit. This is because:Vrach said:Aurgelmir said:skip
But yeah, people in computer shops, I always assume they're trying to sell me the more expensive shit.
of Commission. I make 10% of profit on every one of my sales. That means for every 10 dollars above cost price a unit is, I make a buck. So to me there is absolutely no difference between a computer that costs use 1000 that we sell for 1500, or a computer that we buy for 2200 and sell for 2700. This happens a lot more than you think, by the way. Salesmen are much smarter than you thinkFlishiz said:I'd say any evil career is one that simply can be summed up with one question:
"How big is your commission?"
If the answer is anywhere above 0.0%, then there's a fair shot.
In their defence, it isn't them who make the system. They are just ordinary folks trying to make a living like anyone else and are stuck trying to sort through all the bullshit that their superiors make them doGurk said:The people that work at Centrelink...
