The characters in L4D 2...

I like 'em. We're basically playing as a gun and a camera I don't know why this has to be much of an issue.

They're meh. I think one of them is a priest, am I right? If that's so, then they're ripping off Call of Juarez by having a Reverend Kickass.

I want to play as Ellis, the Mechanic.
It'll be like playing as the Scout! (He's voiced by the same guy who does the Scout from TF2 xD)
What melee weapon does he have? Here's hoping for a baseball bat... Unless Rochelle already has that.

I like them. A Con Man? Cool. A Weather lady is okay (I think that's what Rochelle is), Coach reminds me of Uncle Phil from Bel Air, and the other guy... I don't know.

The other guys a laidback, kind mechanic.

why does the silenced uzi have the loudest shot of nearly any weapon?
i do like the upgradeable weapons, but that reeks of even more player rivalry, as each one will rush points where they know upgrades might be
i also like the wider variety of weapon, rather then when it was really only automatic vs shotgun, unless you were the anti-tanker and had a sniper

Might ruin the game for me. They just look so weird. It's going to be the one thing I'm going to miss from the original game.

I have to agree. Though i'll wait until i've played it before giving final judgement.

But i can't see how these new characters are even going to be half as good as the old ones, it seems to me just 4 different types/levels of annoying people at the moment
