Clearly, there is one thing this thread needs.

A KITTEN!

So... So.. So Cute!

How is it possible?!

OT: Thread worked, I'm actually feeling better! Whoo! And I don't have to go to school on Monday! Whoo!

Thank goodness for this thread, I mean we did recently experience the loss of DementedTeddy.

To combat despair is to make fun of it:

That thing rocks. Thanks man. Needed something to scrub Elfin Gore from my mind.
Elfin.. Gore?

..Do you mean Elfen Lied?
Yeah, Elfin Gore.
..I see what you did there. Oh wait, we brought Elfen Lied into the happy thread.

QUICKLY, MOAR KITTENS!

Ironicly enough I use things like elfen lied to cheer myself up,
watching/reading/playing/remembering some form of medeia that can effect me enough to get me depressed is very cathartic.
When I'm angry or just ticked off I just watch Elfen Lied's opening,
I start angry then the music calms me down then I remember how I felt watching it for the first time and I begin to tear up then afterwards I feel better.
A complete Cycle of emotion all in under 1:30 :)

OT: As stated above depressing or even angry/aggressive media makes me feel better as I use it to get my feelings out in the open,
Game/Anime soundtracks in particular.

Or, failing that a bar of chocolate and a wudget series'll so the trick.

Okay, I've had some bad news yesterday, and today there seems to be a few depressing topics on here. This thread is dedicated to everyone who, like me right now, needs some cheering up. Post something, anything, that cheers you up when you're feeling down. A song, a picture, a story, anything. Want to share stories about those time you were feeling bad and then saw something that instantly made you feel better? Then this thread is for you too!

As for the first thing that comes to my mind, my old avatar comes to mind.

Thank you for making this thread. I got into a car accident today and this is just want I needed =)
I'm sorry to hear that. Are you hurt?
