The guards looked as if they were ready for a fight, but a hand on each of the shoulders made them turn in surprise. Damien brushed easily past the two guards who gave a salute before going off to their other tasks while Damien was left to deal with the two newcomers.

"Welcome. I assume my soldiers have asked you to join my cause, but that isn't why your here. I have to say, I'm rather impressed that you two found your way here without the aid of my soldiers. Come in, it must be rather annoying to be invited somewhere and kept waiting." Damien said, flicking his wrist and causing a slight flash of light where the two newcomers stood.

"Come back to my tent with me, and we can discuss whats on your minds."

Itsuka---

Itsuka knew that, but she didn?t bother to correct him. She wouldn?t follow, she needed rest, and shouldn?t stray from her group. Malina, Marco, and Kain.

Guards---

Guards began to move down the street, and saw the men in black and stopped the man who walked out of the inn. One of the guards ran forward and swung his arm releasing ice, stopping the man from moving.

?State your business! What is your group doing here??

"My business is my own, do what you will to me but you won't learn anything from me." The man said, spitting at the guards feet and turning his head away so that he wasn't looking at the guard.

Elder Mage Skyre---

From his house he could see the ruckus where the guard stopped the man in black, so he joined them outside. As an Elder Mage of Forest it was his duty to know what was going on. With the recent threat to the City by Osaia he couldn?t let this continue.

When he arrived, the guards were trying to get something out of the man. ?You will tell us who you?re and how you people got into this district. We will not tolerate you being here. If you cannot tell, take us to your leader.?

"Isn't it obvious? We walked in through the front gate which you so graciously left open for us. As for taking you to my leader, I'm afraid that can't happen so do what you will to me." The soldier said, staring defiantly at the guard who had frozen him and at the old man who had appeared only a moment ago.

Elder Mage Skyre---

?Damn guards, must have been called over by Lord Din. Well, your leader is in Forest, most likely. If you won?t tell me, then I will take the information from you.?

Skyre went over to the soldier and grabbed his head, and began to let out magic that caused the soldier to scream in pain.

?I see now. Alright,? he let go of the man. ?Your leader Damien, is in a camp just a bit away. You two guards, follow me. We?re going to meet this leader of his.?

They traveled for ten minutes and arrived at the camp where many men stood. ?What the hell is this?? one of the guards commented.

Skyre noticed the spell around the camp, and clapped his hands and put them forward. Immediately the spell faded.

It?s nice to be an Ultimate Tier Mage

As Skyre and the two guards made their way through the camps, many of them men looked at them. Then they saw Damien and walked up to him.

?So your Damien? What brings you to our humble District??

Nearly thirty men immediately brought out halberds and circled around the mage and his two companions. Each looked ready to die for their leader until Damien stepped into the circle, his aura of magic clearly visible to the older mage. Damien glared at the guards beside the older mage and motioned for the mage to follow.

"We can speak mage, but your guards are to leave at once. This is no place for them." Damien said, motioning for the older mage to follow him.

Damien stopped to look at the two newcomers from earlier and sighed, "Forgive me, but I have matters to attend to. You can wait for me in my tent, Echo will lead you there. I must ask that you don't touch anything."

Damien waved his hand, and Echo burst forth from Damien's emerald ring and only stopped when he was beside the two newcomers. The spirit motioned for the two to follow it, while Damien began walking out of the camp.

Elder Mage Skyre---

?But Elder Mage Skyre?? One of the guards protested.

?Don?t worry, I can handle myself.?

Both the guards nodded and began to move out. The men around them moved out of the way and let them past. While they were told to leave, you could tell they didn?t want to leave Skyre alone with these rebels.

?Well Damien, what are your men doing here? We?re in a bit of a crisis at the moment and we can?t have people of a different faction be wondering about our district.?

"We are doing what the people of Middle should have done a year ago. We are giving back what the Middle District deserves, its land." Damien said bluntly, "and if you have a problem with us being here then I'm afraid your out of luck. We will be moving out when the rest of my soldiers return, and until then you'll just have to put up with our company. We won't cause any problems, in fact we'll be staying here in this clearing and we won't even come to your village."

Damien crossed his arms, prepared to fight the mage if things turned hostile. He didn't know how well he would fare against an Elder Mage, but he was prepared to try.

Elder Mage Skyre---

?You may not enter our district yourself, but you men do and are causing a disturbance in Forest. This isn?t a request this is a demand. As an Elder Mage, an Ultimate Tier Mage, I could rip through your camp as if it was butter. I can see you?re powerful, but not powerful enough. If I were to die, then other mages, Ultimate mages who still are earning there Elder Mage title would come. Forest is neutral. We maybe in the City, but we protect our own.?

"You protect your own from what if I may ask Skyre? We didn't force anyone to sign their names, we gave them a choice and whoever signed up chose to join us for the betterment of the City. Can't you see that what Upper District has done is wrong? We want to fix this City, make it the way it once was. Can you say that it is better with Upper District controlling us all and letting their mages run freely?" Damien asked, gesturing with his hands back to the camp.

"All of these men have been affected by Upper District in some way, either having their homes stolen or their families killed in the conflicts that Upper District has created. You want them to lie down and take that punishment they don't deserve? I'm sorry Elder Mage, but we have caused no disturbance here and if you think we did then I'm afraid we're going to have a problem. We aren't leaving until the rest of my soldiers return, and when they do I can promise you that we will leave."

Elder Mage Skyre---

?I am an optimistic man, but I can see a bloody end when I can. These men will be heading to their deaths. Upper district army, is leagues above this. Without the aid of Steel Heart, I see failure. A faction who has been getting much aid from the North and now is matching up to Upper. But the thing is, they are patient. You seem quick to go to your death.

?Upper district has some of the finest Mages in the City, whether or not you like Upper District you must admit that. When I went to Upper District, only just a year ago. The size of Ultimate Tier Mages was almost frightening. Your army can?t fight them.?

"Then what do you suggest we do? Turn tail and flee, leaving thousands of people to their fates? No, I will not do that." Damien said, shaking his head with disappoint. He turned away from the man and began walking to the camp.

"These men are fighting to protect what they used to have. They've chosen a side, so should you."

?You are leading them to their deaths! Alone your army will be destroyed. Rushing in because of your feelings is going to get you, and every sorry lad here dead, and then what? You accomplished nothing!? Skyre turned away and began to leave the area and back into Forest.

"So you would rather we cower here in fear of the Upper District like you are? I would rather die then see the Upper District continue to rule over everything!" Damien shouted, disappearing in a flash of green light.

Elder Mage Skyre---

He is too young to understand. Dying won?t push his cause forward, dying will only help it come to an even bloodier closure then it already leading to.

Malina---

Malina laid on her bed, staring at the roof, the noise below stopped, and she was finally able to start closing her eyes. Tomorrow she could act.

Gemsi (Lorel)---

?So, Osaia, what is your goal exactly?? Gemsi spoke casually as he sat down in a chair across from her.

?To take revenge on God?s Realm and take control of the City of course.?

?Really? That?s it? How Cliché for a Goddess such as yourself who has been stranded in the Dire Realm for, what, 6000 years and that?s the best you got??

Osaia glared at him. ?What, am I supposed to be scared?? Gemsi remarked.

(Kain, Forest)

Kain barely noticed the noise that went on below him. He fell to sleep as soon as he laid on the bed.

----------------
(Marco, Forest)

In contrast Marco lay awake in thought of the days events. When he heard the noise he avoided going downstairs but lied on the floor to listen to the conversation Itsuka had with a man downstairs. After the conversation was done Marco sat on the bed but never fell asleep.

Rumina decided not to waste any time, he quickly grabbed his horse and started off towards the town looking for Redithidoor. A few towns over, that should be O'la, if I remember correctly that is.

"What information could they have that I don't?" Rumina muttered under his breath to himself. Something is up, in all my years looking for him I haven't found a shred of evidence about him. Yet now, out of the blue it would seem. Someone finally has information for me? This can't be right, I best be on my guard lest this be some sort of trap

"Tayranthiel, you will meet your end by my blade. I will have revenge for what you have done to my family."

Damien materialized in his tent and sighed, wishing that Skyre had been wrong but knowing deep down that he wasn't. Damien sat down in his chair, feeling worn out even though he had done nothing strenuous that would cause him to feel like this. Damien sat down on a cushioned chair, and slumped down into a more comfortable position. It appeared that he was still waiting on Echo and the two newcomers from earlier, so he sat and waited while looking over the map he had been given by Edward before he left.

The two young men entered the tent and there was a split second of tension between them and Damien as he sensed their unusual form of magic. IT felt as though it were a skintight layer around their bodies that was constantly shifting.

"So your Damien. You can call me Seven, and him Nine." Seven told him with a gesture to his friend.

"We will tell you why we want to join your cause, and you tel us why we should."

"That sounds fair." Damien replied, putting down his reading material.

Then Seven told their story. It was long, shocking, and almost pitiful. The raw emotion that swept through the two companions as the story was told was compelling. How such dangerous fugitives had stayed out of the grasp of the Upper district's mages was anyone's guess. But if they had survived this long, clearly they had potential. When the story was over, the two strangers, visibly relaxed before sitting in two open chairs. It was only then that Damien realized he had also been quite tense.

"Now, you can ask us all the questions you want, after you convince us to join you." Seven said. He leand back in his chair and waited for a reply.
