Well, depends. I was playing as a Spy, but swapped to Engie less then a minute before rounds end. Wanted a mini-sentry to cover the cart. However, never got to actually "play" as him as Blu was spawn camping with two demomen and I died the second I left the spawn zone. 'Course, a ridiculously long respawn timer didn't help.
