What is the closest youve ever been to someone other than a human? by this i mean a beloved pet, a snail in your garden, i dunno! thats the question, whats your answer?

for me its my beloved cat, Sophie, i swear i communicate with her better than i do with any human ive ever met, we can understand every single word we say to eachother, for example, right now shes asking me to open the door to my room for her so she can leave by sitting by the door perectly still and staring at me intently

My late Sheltie [http://familybuildingworkshop.com/Hope/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/sheltie20220800.jpg], J.J. We did absolutely everything together when I was a kid. :l

I don't think I've ever had a stronger connection with anyone.

I've never had a good connection with someone apart from another human. Does this mean that i am a sad, sad kid?

My dog as a child. He was fantastic, and I loved him more than most people I know now, and knew then.

If this is true, I'll join you in being sad. Perhaps we can wear black and write poetry about how sad we are.

I haven't had any real emotional connection to anything excluding a human or two, and was generally annoyed by the few pets we've had over the years >.>

My cat, of course. For the past four years she has always sat on my desk when I'm on my computer, and slept on my bed or on the chair beside my bed when I go to sleep. I'm lucky to have her :D.

I had a tarantula named Ted. I had him for 10 years, which is a hell of a long time for a spider. He died a few weeks ago.

I have cat name Mu and i've had her since she was born and she likes to cuddle up with me when i sleep and sits by me when i eat. I have to flick her nose to get her down but i love her anyways.

My cat, Ada. She sleeps under the covers with me, sits with me while I'm on the computer, runs to me every morning when I wake up...she's my best friend.

My pet Rat Hershey. I trained her to return to me when I whistle, I would take her to the park where she would attack crow (yes she's a bad-ass) and she has never once tried to run away despite all of the opportunities, she always came back to me...

Oh god I miss Her...

A friend of mine once hypnotized me, and while under hypnosis I had a hallucinatory experience of walking into a basement, meeting a little ghost girl with whom I really connected, and finally when my hypnotist friend made me leave the basement I felt legitimately guilty about leaving the little ghost girl behind. I'm going to go ahead and say non-existent hypnosis induced ghost girl probably doesn't count as human.

The family dog, Ben, when he was still with us A big cuddly Golden Retriever.

One time he got out the front door when I was on my way to school. Followed me all the way into the school grounds - had to end up taking him all the way back home. He also liked to chase rabbits, though I only think he's ever succeeded and catching a frog.

He never bore a grudge either. Even if you were in a bad mood one day and took it out on him, he'd be back huddling up to you in a few minutes. If only more people were like that.

I really miss the big daft lug sometimes...:)
