I can't get myself to part with this one, even after the countless hours I've spent on a variety of characters! Only while mage do I not use it =p.

Unfortunately model-wise they've pretty much been replaced by the Kasrkin, and it's just not the same.
The Dragonbone armor from Skyrim, because nothing says awesome warrior like wearing the bones of the dragons you have slain.

I really like the Shiny Brass Armour set from Dark Souls, too.

I loved War's armour in Darksiders, could do with a bit less clutter though.
Since Guildwars 2 is out soon, I've been playing some of the original, and I'd forgotten how much I loved this stuff...
My favourite armour of all time has to be the Grey Knights Terminators, although I think the only time we ever saw them in game was in Dawn of War, and they weren't even terminators...

And best of all, the mod has absolutely no Dreadknights!

It's stylish and aestetic, but it's also practical, and fairly light. Plus, slap on a geiger counter and a scarf and you're ready for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Fallout.

That armour is fairly nice, too. It's not exactly realistic or anything, but it still works, to me. It's rare to find something not terribly overdesigned or glowing in World of Warcraft, but sometimes they succeed.

It's been mentioned before [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.384856-The-Cool-Armour-Thread#15285569], but I'll say it again: Fire Emblem's Black Knight.
Dude's built like a castle and about as well-defended as one. Ordinarily that would lead to mobility issues, but he teleports to and from battle and his blessed greatsword is capable of sword-beams at a distance. And against all logic or reason, he's uncannily adept at high-key swordplay and dodging things (not that he needs to or anything), perhaps the only armored character in Fire Emblem with these traits.

Also: Darth Revan's robe/armor set. Not very high-profile, but intimidating and mysterious nonetheless. The somewhat ascetic look of the robes compliments the Mandalorian-style armor and face-mask. Great for people developing an arcane mastery of the forces of the universe who can't be bothered with trivial things. Like being shot at.

And then there's the... anything from the Mass Effect design team. Specifically the new N7 "Slayer" Vanguard class from Multiplayer. Just look at those threads they sport. It's like some sort of neo-jedi light armor style mixed with Halo's ODST gear.

And of course: The UNSC Spartans. It started with the Master Chief and the stock Mjolnir style, but Halo 3 and Halo: Reach have shown us that they ALL[footnote]Totality of this statement may vary from person to person.[/footnote] look good in their own way.

The Judges from Final Fantasy XII wear some great armor.
I also love the Dark Silver Armor and Fluted armor sets from Demon's Souls.
