Wasn't this done recently? I only ask because I seem to remember me siding with someone who mentioned Captain Reynolds and someone else I can't recall for the life of me. It was amazing though.

Mortal Kombat vs DC vs Marvel vs Street Fighter vs Tekken vs Dead or Alive vs Super Smash Brothers vs Capcom.

Over 100 characters to choose from, only 1 word to describe it. Awesome.

Halo with the Tales series gameplay.

I can't imagine how poorly recieved and dumb it'd be, but I'd play it.

Master Chief: "DEMON FANG!" (Get it? Cuz the Covenant refer to him as "Demon")

....I'll leave now.

Max Payne from 1 or 2, Sam Fisher from Convictions, and Frank Castle teaming up to hunt down the people who wronged them.

I'm a huge fan of "normal" guys and shooting, so that right there would be pretty bitchin'

Half-Life 2 cross Warhammer 40k. So that we might get a decent FPS based in the 40k universe.

Or maybe Fallout 3/Oblivion cross Warhammer. So that we might get a good FPS RPG based on the Warhammer Fantasy universe.

OT: Take TF2, splice in some Half-Life 2 [And all the episodes], then, mix in some COD5 and 4, and put in a bit of BioShock and L4D.
It'd be set in Rapture, with two teams of survivors trying to survive a zombie/splicer apocalypse with Big Daddies, terrorists, and Combine all fighting each other. Now that's a game :D
I'm pretty sure the universe would be destroyed in an explosion of too awesome if this was put together. [Personal opinion]Although COD5 might dilute it enough to prevent it.[/Personal opinion]

the ultimate crossover:

Ash Williams in Left 4 Dead
that is one of the best ideas I have ever heard

for me though, it would have to be HL2 with Halo, so the headcrabs eat the flood

it would be awesome

As far as ive been able to tell, this is search bar approved, so lets have at it.

If you could smash together 2 or 3 games into one, epic game, what would they be? also, nothing like Smash Bros., im talking about something with a comprehensive story, with a reason for the characters to be there. without further ado, ill have to say that i wish that "The Beast" referred to in inFAMOUS is none other than Alex Mercer from [PROTOTYPE]. I think that would finally put an end to the damn "who ams bettar" arguments.
I second that. It would just be completely awesome. I haven't played inFamous yet since I don't have a ps3, but I will eventually! But I still adore Prototype, needs some improvement but still a good game. And very therapeutic. Though, I certainly would love it as co-op. That way my sister and I could destroy a city and wreak havoc. Mwahahaha!

Ness Meets Lucas, and they gather their respective groups together to challenge an intergalactic evil, an annelid in a powersuit with a space gun, who has a penchant for altered states. This evil translates the entire group into a 2D form, where they team up with Mario in the same form with the best and most powerful of his pals from the PM games, and they all group up together to a showdown with the ultimate evil, which just so happens to occur in a giant pointy temple in Hyrule.

The Twist? There's no Link, and Ridley saves them at the end. Oh, and at some point you have to take down some Arwings, or something. Oh, and you have to climb a colossus to reach the top of Earthworm Jim's tower.

Without COD 5, we wouldn't have a game mode called "Nazi Zombies, Rapture Zombies, Splicers, Big Daddies, Combine, and Terrorists". It'd have to be abbreviated, though.
True. NZRZSBDCT Mode sounds pretty good.

Jedi in the Marvel universe.
This can work, as long as there's a section where I get to take a lightsaber from the game and use it to commit seppuku.

OT: Space Marine Gill Bates teams up with adventerous elf/plumber/pokemon trainer Migeru Shiyamoto and angsty JRPG protagonist Kideo Hojima to defeat the villainous emperor, Jeve Sobs.

Take a sprig of "Bad Company", toss in a mixture of "Oblivion/Fallout 3", and stir counterclockwise for three full turns.

I give you: Bad Company, but with more than 10 hours (top) of gameplay, and a free-roamable world in which you can blow up everything.
Aka the way Fallout 3/Oblivion should have been? More games should include fully destructible environments. Red Faction did it right, though.

Erm... Have you played Bad Company? That game had the best story and dialogue ever. Period...

The gameplay itself was rather lackluster, to be sure (interchangable with nearly any other shooter, albeit with a more fun environment), but the story? Intense.
